I rarely leave bad reviews,but I wanted to share my experience so hopefully no one else has to deal with the same situation. I booked a move for Saturday, May 9th. The original arrival window for the movers was between 11 AM–2 PM, but that timeframe came and went with no communication. I eventually had to reach out myself to figure out what was going on.
This was hands down the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. The final invoice was over $2,000 higher than the estimate, with charges added that were never clearly authorized or explained in advance. What was discussed verbally did not match what I was ultimately billed for. Beyond the pricing issue, the quality of service was unacceptable. Several items were damaged, pieces were missing, and some furniture was returned poorly .
We’re sorry to hear this was your experience and understand how frustrating it can be when a move doesn’t go as planned. Our estimates are based on the information provided upfront, and in this case the scope of work changed mid-move, which affected the final total.
Unfortunately, I had high hopes for this company based on the reviews and I was let down. It was a no call and no show. Still 2days later, I haven't heard anything and I haven't received a call, voicemail, email , nothing. I also paid a deposit.

I had a very disappointing experience with TUNJ Control moving services in Birmingham, Alabama. Unfortunately, they failed to move me within the agreed or appropriate time frame and did not communicate effectively throughout the process. I was left waiting without clear updates, which created a major inconvenience. Because I could not wait any longer due to a religious obligation, I ultimately had to move myself.
Contracted with this company to move 6 pieces of furniture. No one called 30 minutes prior to move and no one ever showed. Called and was told that the movers “they might could do it later today”. Poor customer service. Don’t setup a move if you can’t complete. Nick was who I spoke to about my move.

I had a Playset assembly scheduled and messaged the day before asking for a timeframe and no one responded. Messaged again the day of and got no response. Called and was told someone would call me back with an update. No call back.

They put my babies play set together completely wrong and I wouldn’t have known unless my builders caught it because they put all the screws in the wrong place. 0/10 would not recommend

This is the best experience I’ve had with a moving company, Izaiah and Luciano did a magnificent job. The guys arrived on time and were very professional. They took the time to make sure everything was properly packed and wrapped. They didn’t stop for a break at all. While transporting my belongings Izaiah communicated with an ETA. Packing the belongings in the storage unit was piece of cake for them. Not sure how they did it, but they made everything fit perfectly.
Will definitely hire again! Professional, on time, fair pricing. Response to messages was quick! Messaged day before and they were here the next day ready to work. I cannot recommend these young men enough!

I am very pleased with my experience with Tunj Control. There was outstanding customer service & professionalism from the very beginning when I scheduled the move with Kyle. That same professionalism and superb customer service continued with Arnez & Jay as they carefully moved, installed and hauled away items for my move. I can't say enough good things about Arnez & Jay. The way they took time to maneuver that very large appliance through my narrow door with such grace & ease was remarkable.
So i am an almost 40 year old fat guy that thought he could move his entire house by himself in one day. Boy was i wrong. 3 hours into the move I realized I was not, in fact, a 20-something muscular guy so I searched Google for movers near me open late (because it was almost 8PM) and Tunj popped up with good reviews and showed open 24hrs so I called and explained i am stupid for thinking I can do this myself and really need help.
