Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

This was perhaps the worst moving company that I have dealt with. The drivers were suppose to unload the pods at the pods facility and onto there truck. The drivers took 5 hours to do that moving mostly one piece at a time. Items like exercise equipment, stuff animals or anything not in boxes they would not take. That is apart of moving. After I contact the office and the office manager came out the driver said he was going home because I complained on him.

I really hate having to leave negative reviews ever but this service was just incredibly disappointing. It's a long one, but worth the read if you're thinking of using this company!! I was moving apartments and had an upright piano I needed help transporting/getting up into my second story apartment. I know it's a big ask so I went into it expecting to pay a lot for a good team. The piano moving companies were a bit too expensive for me so I put in an estimate request for two men and a truck.

UPDATE/EDIT: Unfortunately, our second move was a terrible experience. The move began two hours late because the truck was smoking and had to be returned to the shop. The second team had one great member (Cortney) and one poor member, who I will not name. The move should have taken a few hours and took over four hours to load. The second crew member took smoke breaks in the truck, complained about being tired, and endangered his team member by not being able to carry items properly.

I have used Two Men and a Truck before and had good experiences. However, this most recent time, I had a horrible experience. I was sent TWO people (as paid for) and only ONE person moved anything. He actually moved everything himself. Due to him single-handedly doing a two person job, items were damaged including a 65 inch TV, a $3,000 treadmill, furniture (desk leg completely broken off), and a few other misc. items broken and shattered.

I am not sure where to start. They showed up on time is the best thing I can say about them. Movers did not follow my direction and did what they wanted they tried to charge me for 1.5 hours of "driving" time for a 25 minute drive and they did not get all my furniture that I requested they get. I ended up spending more money on a truck and two additional days to complete my move. I spoke with the manager and all he wanted from me was a good review!

Whenever I have a bad experience with a company, I never ever leave bad reviews and I just move on. But this experience I HAVE to share We paid our money a week or so ago for Two Men and a Truck out of MemphIs, TN to move our items to our new place of residence plus paid for haul away services. Everything we needed hauled away was planned in advance as well as Paid for.

It’s always something with this companies movers, never ever again. It’s your job to not only put everything in the truck, yet it’s another thing to complain to the customer around her kids and say it’s barely anymore room on the truck “I don’t know what she wants me to tell her” was the statement made by the worker. The whole family can go on and on for days on how awful this service was.

This was the worst experience that I have ever had regarding customer service. First, they arrived 1 1/2 hours late. Them once arrived they decided that it was going to take double the time and money to complete the job. The head guy Kylie expressed that someone should have come out to access the job in advance to avoid that problem with needing more man power but insisted that they could complete the job in 8 hours in one run, or less, no problem.
