Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

Horrible company. Slow, unprofessional, damaged items being moved. Damaged walls and doors in a new house. Damaged new items we had in the house that were not moved by them. Lost the hardware to out bed. Left trash next to driveway. Final cost was almost double due to 2 mens lack of proper personnel. I had to unload their truck with my equipment due to worn out movers. Brittany (manager) refused to assist in a claim. Employees are not physically fit to be movers. A bunch of weak kids.

They just didn’t show up. They were supposed to arrive between 10 and 11. At 11:15, I reached out. At 11:30 I got a response saying they would look into it. I never got another response, and they just never showed up.

My beautiful solid wood canopy bed was damaged. The head board when taken out of the truck was dropped and a huge chunk was broken off. This bed is part of a 3 piece set. Accidents happen but when the company offers you 2 choices that are ridiculous and unprofessional you may want to think twice. The first offer was that they would pic up my headboard and bring it to their building to repair it. I did not feel confident giving them my headboard in lue of possible more damages occurring.

I was very disappointed when I went down to the U-Haul and realized how things were done. I was told they couldn’t fit my 500 dollar kitchen set in so I was gonna give it to my granddaughter. To my surprise there was enough room so I had to put it in myself with help from my cousin. This was very hard considering that we both are disabled. We had to bring it down three flights. I also had everything ready for them and had it categorized how I wanted it to be done. They didn’t even do that right.

I have never left a negative review due to believing ppl generally do the best they can & we all have bad days; however this is a warning if you care at all about your things. When I called for my estimate I repeated several times how heavy my things are; even mentioned that everyone who has ever moved me says it’s the heaviest they’ve ever moved.

I want to preface this 1-Star review by saying our movers and packers were fantastic. If these were the only people we interacted with I would 100% book again. We had to move out of state and based on the reviews thought we'd have an easy time. We got our initial quote by someone visiting the house and reviewing our stuff and we showed them every room and our two sheds, and during this we were told it would fit in one truck. Great. Packers come and finish what we could not, mainly our Kitchen, did a great job.

I usually feel like I end up long-winded on these reviews. So I’ll try to keep it brief. I’ve used two men in a truck about four times now. And while I’m not going to say that every person was bad or everything was a constant issue, there was enough issues over these four uses of their services That made me not really want to use their service again if there was an alternative. The first main issue is listening and coordination.

So the boys that moved us were 100% awesome. Would give them five stars. But the company in general will quote you one thing but then will charge you something different. We was misquoted for two trucks. So when I called them to see if we could figure out a way to figure this out. All they could say was sorry we quoted you wrong but no we're not going to fix the problem. So we are out $500 more than what we thought we were going to have to pay. So I would not recommend the company at all.
