Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

My husband and I hired this company to move five pieces of furniture for my recent move and overall, my experience with them was disappointing. The two men who did the job were professional and polite to me and my husband but one of them was extremely rude to his coworker the entire time and it made us both uncomfortable. They were fast and efficient, however, they ended up damaging two pieces of furniture. There were two large chips in our TV stand and a piece broken off of our brand new bed frame.

I moved several months ago and haven't had a chance to write a review until now. . The two men who did the actual move did the job well but they added 1 hr extra to my bill. I was quoted one amount and ended up paying another. When I called to discuss why would it be 3.5 hrs when it should have been only 2-2.5hrs, the lady over the phone started to look at the route they took. They decided to take the longest route possible to my place. She stated they left at 7:30am but didn't arrive at my place until almost 9am.

Movers were quick and very polite. Unfortunately, one of them knocked my TV over (and he told me that he did, saying, "I hope it's not broken.") Well, it WAS broken. Our flat screen now randomly shuts off and won't connect to Wifi. I filed a claim and the company refused to compensate us at all. I had used Two Men and a Truck three other times over the years. Twice, no issues at all.

Movers were nice, but seemed to move slower than I expected. The lead man had a limp from a sports injury. The two others a young lady and man on his second day on the job, could have used more help. Truck broke down on their way, so they arrived late. They did have another person come help unload. Cost more than it should have due to inexperienced and extra time. If you use Two Men and a truck, ask for experienced movers.

Wondered why my bill was 100$ more. Called and it took like 5 mins for them to bring up the evaluation fee which was the first time I heard about a fee. Told them I refused it, twice, the moving guy lied said it didn't cost anything and put in a random number. No one evaluated anything and I'd like a refund. Local lady sent me to a voicemail. Never received a return call. Called international number, she was polite, and thought my situation was horrible.

*Beware** and choose another mover, We used 2 men and a truck just to move the large items from our move and I waited to think of leaving a review or not but the longer I reflect we were RIPPED OFF! First is not a great sign when they get out of the truck and empty a bottle of tobacco spit all over the driveway, We were quoted 3 men for 4 hours. We got 3 people but after showing up the 3rd person laid in the truck the whole time the excuse was she was sick.

We used two men and a truck in June. During the process of the move they broke our couch, added an unauthorized tip, I was charged for materials they did not use and spent an exorbitant amount of time moving a piece of furniture they were training a new employee on. We contacted them about these things several times for 2 weeks before finally getting a response. They agreed to a refund for the unauthorized tip and mattress cover that was not used. That refund never came through. A complete and total lie!

I was disappointed with this moving company. Before they started moving stuff we went around because there was stuff that was supposed to stay at the other house. They ended up just grabbing everything and not listening to us. They just stacked boxes on stuff that we labeled fragile and caused damage to that stuff. They moved stuff to random places and didn’t keep furniture together. The biggest thing was that they quoted us for 8 hours and costing around $2,800.
