After the total amount of $2,172.52 was finalized and signed for by me after the move by Jake New, Dillon Morris, and Christopher (Andy) Barnett, we ended up being billed for nearly $3,000 - after my card was billed for the $2,172.52. They reasoned that it was because there was a third mover, which we didn't request or were informed of additional charges for.
I used Two Men and a Truck for 2 moves. I did the packing myself and everything they moved was properly protected. During a move, a glass candle holder was broken. I (stupidly) purchased the 100% damage coverage. During that move they also damaged my grandmother clock. When I filed a claim, they denied both damages. They would not cover either one! The candle holder was denied because I did the packing. Really?? They said the internal workings of my clock was not a covered damage.
We understand your frustration and take these claims very serious. We investigated your claim and, unfortunately, without any physical damage to the clock, we are unable to determine the cause of the mechanical issue. If you would like to discuss this further, please give our office a call.
Absolutely the worst moving experience I've ever had. For a 4-bedroom home, I was told there would be 3 men available and it would take 3-5 hours to complete the move. However, I was in the process of downsizing and had sold at least half of my stuff, so I expected the process to take 3 hours or less. The day of, only 2 guys showed up and no one communicated why the third person wasn't there.

I really wanted to have a good review to share. We've used Two Men and a Truck during moves in Savannah and Augusta, so we had high expectations. We are both military brats and veterans, so you can imagine we've moved a time or two - definitely not our first rodeo by a long shot. But unfortunately, our move was misquoted, which we found out quite by accident less than a week before the scheduled move date.

I hired this company to move from one house to another house less than a mile away. Everything was already packed up in boxes, so they moved those with no problem. However, they absolutely DESTROYED most of my furniture. They moved most items without a moving blanket and many times the items were dragged across the floor.

We had Troy, and I can’t remember the other gentleman’s name who came the day before our move to pack everything up. They were both incredibly kind, friendly, and very efficient. They did an amazing job packing our belongings with care. On moving day, we had Isaiah and Aben. They showed up on time and got right to work. They were so friendly, professional, and hardworking. Not once did they complain about the stairs, the heat, or even the rain.

Landon, Jonah, and Nick did a fantastic job. Punctual, efficient, and accommodating. We just had our hardwood floors refinished at the new house and they were extremely careful and allowed us to put new felt pads under all furniture. I would highly recommend using them for your move.
