I booked a move for my relative to an assisted living facility with this company. I started with the statewide number and provided the address where he was moving from. I should have been directed to the Delray Beach location which the recorded line indicated I was. I wasn't told until after the actual move that Pompano Beach was the truck location which is significantly further south than Delray and both locations of the move. There is no justification for that expense especially not notifying me ahead of time.
There is a lot in your review that needs to be handled with office staff and if we have not settled the situation to your satisfaction please call our GM Robert at [phone removed]. Regarding the truck from Pompano, we charge a flat rate fee for the trip from the office to your location and back…
Let me start with I used 2 Men & A Truck before and they were very good.....BUT NOW not so much. I had a very thorough estimate from Ken the estimator for $1232 to move a 2 bedroom to a 2 bedroom a block away. When the move was almost complete they wanted to settle up bill. After dropping a table and shattering the marble, they wanted to charge me $1950 for the move. Needless to say I objected.
DO NOT USE!!!!! We were scheduled to move Saturday arrival time 830A-930A with courtesy call of 30 minutes before. At 9:27a after not hearing from them I called. It took 20x to get a hold of someone asking where are the movers at. Gino answers and says oh sorry we have been working on the truck we have oil leaks we have tried calling you to let you know. (That was a LIE!!!!) I had my phone glued to my hand since 8am waiting for their call! They NEVER called!!
Our GM processed the refund himself so I would expect that Amex will be declining the chargeback. He left you a message on the day he processed it more than a week ago. If you would like to discuss further our General Manager Robert can be reached at [phone removed].
I want to be VERY CLEAR from the start that my one star review is about the operations manager Gino, and not our movers. If I could give our movers a 5 star review I certainly will, because they did the job perfectly and so quickly. I was truly thankful for Javier and his team for this. But weeks ago I did a quote online for our move then spoke to Kenny to confirm the details. The main reason we hired movers was because we have an upright piano and we live on a 3rd floor apartment.
We agree that our men are top notch and are sorry to hear that your experience with our manager was not as smooth as it should have been. We have addressed the situation and I know you have been in touch with our General Manager. Please give him a call if you would like to speak further.
After giving them 5 stars on the first move when they placed our belongings in storage, I’ve had to redo this once they moved our belongings to our new home. A couple of furniture pieces were broken which was disheartening to see along with glasses. But now I have realized that not a single piece of furniture was put back together properly or safely. Our bed has random screws in it, with the heads now broken off as they were not designed for the bed and the weight of people.
We are sorry you decided to change your mind on our rating. According to our internal email from you we did not put the beds together and only delivered them as far as the garage. If you would like to discuss further please give us a call at [phone removed] and ask for Alex.
HORRIBLE experience!!! I wish I could literally give zero stars. They work on an hourly basis, hold you card on file and they give you an estimate based on the amount of things that you have. I told them the distance and amount of things that I had in my storage unit. She said she could foresee it going over 2 hours for such a small amount of things, but again it is an estimate. The drivers arrived on time and were personable. It was pouring rain on and off.
The men that did the packing and moving to the storage unit were sloppy. They were nice and courteous but threw clothes that should not have been packed into a box marked "her computer". There were many more incidents like this of things being packed in a box and marked for another category of room. i.e., couch pillows in with dishes or pots and pans. I could go on forever.
After checking with our records I found that you moved with the Delray Beach location in March of 2019 but actually moved with a different franchise in January of 2020. From what I can see things went smoothly in Delray but we are sorry to hear that it was not so with the other location.
Stay away!!! I don't normally leave negative reviews for companies, but this company absolutely deserves one. I needed a heavy mattress and adjustable bedframe moved, so I called and reviewed the logistics with Jarel Patrice, who was very pleasant to speak with. I was happy with the information and assurances he gave me regarding my particular situation, so I proceeded with Two Men and A Truck for the move. First, the movers arrived late to the pick up location. Not a big deal, I understand that delays happen.
My understanding was that the mattress was bagged and then moved outside to get it into the box because the space was too small and that it was undamaged. Please give us a call at [phone removed] and ask for Robert to discuss further.

Great price. Scheduled the service for the next day which I was impressed they could accommodate. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Movers Cesar and Ronald were professional and fast. No nonsense and very careful with my things. Would 100% recommend. Went as smoothly as you could hope for.

Wow—where do I even begin? I contacted this company two weeks ago to schedule a move, and the move took place today. From the very first call, the experience was impressive. Tina helped us get everything set up and was extremely thorough helping us determine how much we had to move and giving her very best effort to give us an accurate estimate. Brenton and Kenton were punctual, and extremely polite. We had to sell a house, buy a house, and move on the same day.

From start to finish our move was as easy a move as one could hope for! With Kenny in the office and Lawrence & Dorman as our movers we were in very good hands! At the start, Kenny was able to provide us with an over-the-phone estimate on the moving date of my choice and calling for 7 hours of moving time. I really appreciated his responsiveness as I had to change and add to what was being moved. On moving day, our dream team of movers, Lawrence & Dorman, arrived as scheduled and did such an outstanding job!
