Broke our 60" TV, never got a call back from the "claim coordinator" despite a voicemail and speaking with 2 office workers. Upon unpacking we realized our couch (that we only purchased 3 weeks ago!) was also ripped in two locations and several mattresses had not been wrapped properly, leaving them dirty. Despite clear instructions on where the boxes were to go, many ended up in random rooms. My son's large 10-drawer dresser was left standing up on it's side, as was his mattress.

Good — usually My most recent experience was not good. Damaged, overcharged, delayed. Customer service said they would “make it right”. They sort of did, sort of didn’t, then wouldn’t return my calls. Not nice. Will I use them again? not sure They were really good in the past

Absolutely the worst moving experience we’ve ever had. The truck they brought did not have enough room for all of our stuff. This was even with our original plan that included a primary bedroom set that we ended up not moving with. There is still stuff left at our old house that we have to move over now that we had planned to be included in this move. They broke a bookcase.

The absolute worst moving company on the planet. Before I hired them I let them know I had a baby grand piano and they assured me they could move it. They also started the process of moving the piano with the legs on-no professional piano mover would do that. My husband had to intervene and help them turn the piano on its side and he removed the legs.

The men waited outside for an hour without coming to my office suite where I had been waiting for them to show. After waiting for an hour for them to come down one flight of stairs I went upstairs only to find them outside waiting for me! They tried calling me on my cell phone but there was no signal down stairs where my office suite is.

While I can't fault the teams of people sent to work, the office is a mess. When I set the appointment for my move, I told the person it had to be completed by 4:00 pm due to elevator issues at my new location. He asked if it could be extended and I agreed to that. Apparently it was never noted in the file and the movers arrived at 2:30 pm. Needless to say, the move wasn't completed, they stored everything overnight, and then proceeded to charge me for the storage.

Please make sure that they are giving you an honest quote before you move forward with them, or better yet, avoid them altogether!! I asked them for a quote, gave them the pick-up and drop-off addresses and they told me a dollar amount based on the move taking an hour (I don't have a lot of stuff - it's just heavy). Then when the guys came to my house, they gave me a full breakdown and charged me almost double what the quote was.

Called to get a quote to move a 4-bedroom to the new house 10 mins away. I packed all of my loose stuffs into boxes and the big items only include one upright piano, three sets of beds, three TVs and stands, one set of sofa, one set of dining table with chairs. Based on my info, I was quoted with 4 men and 1 truck with 4-6 hours for around $2300. But it ended up with 6 men, 2 trucks with a total ~48 hours work (4 men for 9 hours and 2 men for 6 hours). The final cost is around $4600.

My experience with Two Men and A Truck was a beginning to end excellent experience. I walked into their Northbrook, IL office on a weekend since I was moving into a new space across the street from our Gurnee, IL location. Although the person I needed to speak with was not in, the office personnel was helpful, polite and provided me with the contact information for their commercial account manager. Within a few days, I corresponded with the account manager and we communicated all the details of the move.

A great experience, the scheduling and initial estimation process was easy. On the day of the move the driver called about 30 prior to arrival to let us know they were on the way. The crew was very professional and polite and efficiently loaded the truck for our cross town move. At the new location, a condo, they met with the building manager (who has had positive experiences and favors this company over others) and coordinated the use of the elevator delivered the boxes and furniture to each room.
