Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

Update: Check Yelp for latest review. Horrible company! Complete disregard for customer and their belongings! Some form of damage on most everything moved. Even scratched walls, scraped corners and gouged baseboards in our new home. A small desk and matching file cabinet were destroyed beyond repair. We had them move about 12 items: couch, a few small pieces of furniture, 2 mattresses (no box-springs), small 5pc dining set, and a few misc.

I'm a bit miffed with this location. I had scheduled a move for Sunday. Filled out the inventory assessment and received the confirmation email. It stated I would receive a call from a representative for any last minute changes or confirmation. (Never got a phone call). Day of move, I'm here at the designated time...no movers. I call, 3x and leave messages...it's now been over 2 hours, no movers, no call back. We ended up moving the office ourselves.

Do not I repeat do not book with these people! I asked for a two man crew (I wasn't moving a lot of stuff at all) and when they arrived there were 3 men. I also requested someone I knew to move me and he was not put onto my move. Also let me not forget since they sent 3 men my hourly cost and trip charge went up $50 per. I called and spoke to CHRIS the manager and he cut me off and called me a liar.

The first time that I used 2 men and a truck, they were great. This time, not so much. The 2 drivers were polite but slow with moving, they did not wrap any of my furniture. They told me they could not move my 32 inch TV due being unable to "properly strap" it down. They also stated that they could not move my water cooler. These were items I placed on the list when setting up a date and time with the company.

Scheduled move for Flagstaff to Phoenix. Evening before move, I learned they would arrive two hours later than scheduled. No problem, the movers showed up and were very friendly and professional. They did not have the right tools in their truck to disassemble my bed, said they would go get and come back and also take that time off my final bill. Ended up only taking 15-minutes off. They arrived in Phoenix and unloaded, all went well.

I was extremely disappointed with Two Men and a Truck. The actual move went well, but one of the movers, Ramone, behaved unprofessionally and inappropriately. First he asked if I had a “boyfriend or a girlfriend.” Later I saw him open my underwear drawer. Supposedly he had stored a tool in there. Considering he had both a toolbox and a tool belt, and that single young women’s underwear drawers are no place to store tools, this was highly inappropriate. It was just a reason to check out my underwear.

If you want competent movers the owner and the Movers themselves were great. However if you need to call about a payment and get details the lady answering the phone is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Apparently she is unable to do anything that without your credit card info. That approval code you get at the end of your move is worthless according to her. She is not able to look up anything with it.

Awful Experience. Usually our business has had good luck with Two Men and a Truck. We ordered a short move of office furniture for our business and they sent Orlando to complete the move. As soon as they arrive to Orlando told me I had to sign a release and Casey damaged our building. I have never had to sign that in the past. More importantly, he was quite rude and unprofessional about it. I do not recommend Two Men and a Truck Phoenix North.
