A lot of damage and items were lost. They refused to move my things into the house unless I signed a waiver absolving them from liability for any damage whatsoever. They attempted to increase the price halfway through the job, between the move-out and move-in. (They did back down on this.) It is hard to find good movers. It's a tough industry, but look for a company that carefully inventories your items and reminds you on-site about the short timeline to report damage and loss.
The movers showed up two hours late, after we had confirmed with them several times that we need a prompt 7:30 a.m. arrival. The excuse was a flat tire, however we heard them discussing how they had not left the shop until 8:45 a.m. They further blamed the delay on the inability to find the address. The customer service representative stated that they couldn't find the address on google maps. It took them 5.5 hours to move 20 boxes, a bedroom set, exercise bike and living room.
Integrity is a core value for us and we expect same from customers. Moving is hard work and the crew is entitled to a break which we DO NOT charge for and did not charge you for. We only charged for total time used for your move from the actual start time as stated in the terms of service clearly…
Worst moving company in Windsor! Came on time but were short one man only to have one show up around 4 PM. Took them until 10:30 PM to unload at the new house and even though my wife had packaged everything with a label and what room it was to be placed along with the floor plans it seemed they were going to do it their way and placed the boxes anywhere now we have to sort them out. They were very polite and respectful but were having too much fun to which Peter agreed.

Horrible movers and service. Company provided poor estimate, movers struck a tree backing into driveway, they moved all around house to move and were unorganized moving and loading truck, Then they stated truck was full and left items …
Providing an accurate estimate depends on the honesty of customers to provide an accurate inventory. Your truck was estimated as 50% full based on the items you provided but on actual move day the 26ft truck could barely close as it was fully loaded.

I cannot express strongly enough how wonderful this moving company is! I have used a few different moving companies in my life and Two Men and a Truck were BY FAR the best of them all. As a matter of fact, the way they do business is very much like how businesses used to be run, with honesty, integrity and professionalism from start to finish. Communication, transparency and efficiency were clearly top priorities. They took very good care while wrapping and transporting items.

I chose Two Men and a Truck at my sisters recommendation. I was having my upstairs hardwood refinished. All upstairs furniture had to be moved to a storage bin on my driveway. The crew led by Kelvin arrived at the time discussed. Kelvin’s colleagues, Ayodeji and Afeez were extremely careful with all my furniture. Wrapping everything in plastic and blankets for safe transport down my stairs. They also wrapped mirrors and moved pictures for me. Most appreciated.

This is the second time I have hired Two Men and a Truck for moving. The first time they moved an antique piano for me and were very professional and careful with the piano. Recently I hired them again to move all of my furniture. Prior to paying a deposit, they came to my home to go over what needed to be moved and gave me a quote. They were professional, care with my belongings and even brought in a couch from the garage as a last minute ask.

The 3 gentlemen that moved my stuff were polite and professional. They got to work immediately and needed very little direction. Just be clear when booking your job tho, apparently according to the office manager, the clock starts when they leave the office, not when they arrive to your house. It might be in the small print somewhere but I didn’t see it. Luckily for me my job was too big for me but small for 3 guys so they were done quickly and no where near my time limit.
