In their own words
The movers worked hard both in putting our things into storage units and in moving them to our new home. HOWEVER, we had upgraded to the higher level of insurance since we have many valuable antique pieces...when I discovered several things had been damaged in the move I have placed 4 calls to the company with no response. Apparently they are much more concerned with getting the sale than standing behind their agreements. Truly disappointed, paid for the best and they aren't coming through!
Horrible experience. Movers were 2 hours late and attempted to do a rush job upon arriving. Hired for 7 hours of packing service, 5 hours packing, 2 hours to move. Within 3 hours of the move, movers complained they were running out of time. Left half the job undone. I had to hire another moving company to finish the job. I would highly recommend NIOT using this company. Very unprofessional.

Paid almost $3,000 to move half my furniture only 15 minutes away. Was told it would take 5 hours; it took far longer. One mover was great, but the others dragged their feet. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want to be overcharged.

They tried to change cost the of moving. Then they lost my per cord to an expensive leather recliner. They hold me they would replace cord. THEY NEVER DID. Lousy company. I would never use them again
I wish I could rate them ZERO. Thirty years with a few professional/distance moves went well until this WORST MOVE EVER. Steve inspected ours and mother’s homes underestimating our quote and wouldn’t return calls after contracting. Movers shared this was typical, frustrating to many. We paid $9200 initially, advised this was policy. A call on day two was for another $2400 for packing performed (not reflected in the contract). General manager Julian later promised to refund the $2400, still pending.
I was very dissatisfied with the service because of their timeliness. I was given a timeframe between 1pm-4pm; they were 3 hours late. I had to make multiple calls to the dispatcher AND the driver trying to find out when they were going to be there. I heard many excuses from the driver. Had I known there was going to be such a delay, i would've canceled. I will say that once they arrived, they were quick in moving and protecting the items. I will not use them again.

the guys were really great, courteous and professional. the price, however, was ridiculous, at $250 for less than an hour of work, moving a very small number of items ONE mile in mt. dora--from waterman village to 8th avenue. i would not recommend them. i have never heard of a non-refundable security deposit!
Hi Jeanne. We hope to communicate well the cost of our services before the move, and we're sorry for letting you down in this regard. There is no security deposit. There is a travel charge for the use of the truck and an hourly rate for moving services.
The guys that moved me were great. The company gave me there price of &140/he all inclusive. But, they failed to tell me about the $140 travel fee, which was only a 15 minute drive. The would not work with me on the price. At a time when people are struggling. Price gouging.

I received a quote and schedule date from Trans Van Lines. Do Not Use Trans Van Lines, they are a Scam. People don’t was your times. Just call Two Men and a Truck. I had to schedule a last minute move from Orlando to Gainesville FL. I spoke with one of the Representatives in the Orlando Office to schedule a move and he was able to give me a good rate with Three Men and a Truck. The guys arrived on time, very professional and were ready to work.

This is the second time that we hired 2 Men and a Truck to help us with our move. Our scheduler, Michael, was extremely professional, flexible and kind. He was very accommodating. Our movers, Amos, Vaughan, and Chris, were prompt, polite, careful and conscientious. Very responsive to our requests. They made the move much easier than it would have been. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for a future move.

Two men and a truck came to our rescue! When our pre-arranged trucking company royally messed us up by NOT following through and not loading or delivering any of our things, we had to get UHauls to pack our things into. I called Two men and a truck in desperation, the following day, to see if they could help us unload. Long story, short, though they couldn't get to us as quickly as I was first told, they kept me informed as to their eta.

This past move was the fifth time I have used Two Men and A Truck and I have always been very happy with them. Michael, my coordinator was very helpful and provided clear description of the process, pricing, and what I should expect. The day of moving Michael and Tim showed up on time and were so efficient and hustled. They were relaxed and fun which went a long way in removing so much of the stress that comes along with "moving day".
