Two Men and a Truck Moving

Two men and a truck moved me and broke the legs off my ping pong table and tore one of the arms on a practically new leather office chair. I was not there when they unloaded my belongings because the truck broke down and was 6 hours late arriving at my new address. I had to return to my old address and go to work the next day. It was a week later before I got back to my new address. I immediately noticed the damage and reported it. They said they would get back with me and never did.

I would NEVER hire this company. I made the mistake of hiring them for a move and storage. They broke SEVERAL items, dropped a few things in front of me, did damage to items, and some of the moving staff were VERY unprofessional. They wrapped up marble from a outdoor set and broke three of the four pieces but refused to fixed or replaced them. Even though THEY wrapped it up. They make you sign a waiver that says if YOU packed it they are not responsible for it.

I just saw one of their trucks in my neighborhood in the middle of moving a neighbor. This is in Inverness, FL on 5/22/25. Their truck was completely blocking the whole main road in the neighborhood. They saw me drive up and just kept doing what they were doing and acted like I wasn’t there. This is completely ridiculous. They could have moved their truck back a little more to at least make it so one side of traffic could get by.

Quoted 8 hours too load truck. Took almost 12 hours. We ended up loading our own personal vehicles and had to go back the next day and finish ourselves. They stole several boxes one of which had very important items . Our marriage book specifically. Plus they stole two wardrobes. Worst ever .do not hire these people.

Pros: The men who moved us in April were very polite, funny, and easy to have around the house. Cons: They are horrible at packing. Clearly there is an issue in training. We had an Italian leather chair arrive with a two inch gauge in the back of it, a painted bench was slid across the van floor and scrapped up, several antique platters and tea cups were broken because they had minimal to no packing between cups and platters.

Moved in May, my townhouse was being sold from one owner to another as I chose to not move forward with purchasing. This company came as agreed, during move to new home, they damaged a wall and called their boss whom stated they would cover. I have been progressing with legal action with new owners and called this company and asked that they wait on any repair or check disbursement in turn they stated ok.

Last time we ever use TWO MEN AND A TRUCK movers! They were horrible. I usually don't vent, but I don't want others to go through the same. We had never used movers before, but I would NEVER recommend them. One of the guys was standing around and on his phone, while being paid by the hour. Then the icing on the cake was when they dropped one of our cabinets, which scratched it and broke the door. We filled out a report. When we called corporate we are told they the mover says that he didn't drop it!

The actual movers were great. One of them unfortunately broke my Big Green Egg taking it off the moving van and shattered it. Before paying them at the end of the day i spoke to the manager on the phone and they agreed they would pay to replace it with a new one. I paid my bill in full, then followed up with them with what a new egg costs.
