Two Men and a Truck Moving

I hired this company specifically to move some oversized items up on a complicated flight of stairs. I mentioned this in my first communication with the company, offering to have someone come take a look before we hired them to do the work. We were assured it would be no problem and not to worry about it. Fast forward to moving day and of course the oversized items are last off the truck. Surprise, surprise they decide that they can't make the stairs.

BEWARE 2 OF THE MOVERS RIPPED US OFF. They moved our furniture and boxed tv and saw that we had so much more to pack. We paid the fee for the move as was set up. The one mover said, " You look like you need help, I can come back tomorrow and help you out. My stupid boyfriend agreed to it. He brought a friend with him. They stared throwing things in boxes. The he said it would be another $600. He told my boyfriend that he wanted to be paid on Zedge. I stepped and said we don't do that. So he said cash.

I strongly advise against using this moving agency under any circumstances. My experience with them was extremely negative from start to finish. Firstly, their sales representative provided me with a misleading quote the day before my move. This was just the beginning of a series of problems. To make matters worse, despite explicitly informing them not to charge a specific card due to potential overdraft after the move, they went ahead and charged it without my consent.

HORRIBLE office staff. Terrible customer service. Would not use this service again if they paid me. We were told an arrival time of 8 am and the truck showed up at 9. 2 guys got out, even though we ordered 3. Guys really hustled, but dinged the house in many places and damaged the stairs. They couldn't move the couch out, which was the main reason I called them. Long story short, we had to wait for 2 more movers to show up who were condescending and incorrect.

I had a very serious and frustrating experience with Two Men and a Truck. On September 4, one of their trucks was parked in a way that completely blocked my driveway, creating a dangerous situation that resulted in an accident involving my vehicle. After the incident, I attempted repeatedly to contact the company by phone over multiple days and received no returned calls. There was no follow-up or outreach from their team during that time. I only received a response after emailing them directly several days later.

I did not have a good experience and will definitely not be using this company again. I packed my own houseful of furniture & belongings and only needed help moving everything into a storage unit in my driveway in preparation for a home remodel. The team of 2 arrived several hours late without explanation/communication & were upset that their previous job wasn't their only job of the day. They were then visibly/verbally upset at the scope of my project.

My furniture is scuffed and nicked now. My movers were so careless. No blankets were used, straight up wood furniture against metal dollies bouncing down three flights of stairs. They placed our dinning room table face down on concrete.. I've used Poindexter four times before using Two Men and a Truck, and they were always careful with furniture and never had anything damaged. Just avoid this whole franchise.
