In their own words
We hired Two Men & a Truck after being recommended by a friend. We thought this would be our solution to lessening the stress of moving but we were wrong and we will NEVER hire movers again. The movers arrived late, their truck was too small to fit all of our items in one trip (and they didn’t offer to make a second for the remaining items), and they broke or damaged several pieces of furniture.
I was quoted for a move of a 3/2 apt "about $750 for everything and it will be about 5-6 hours". I was very concerned about how much stuff I had because all other moves I have done (and granted they were military moves) took 6 guys and two days and so I kept calling back to see if someone could come out to my apartment for an onsite estimate. Finally, the day before my move, they humored me and sent someone out. He said it should take one truck about 5-6 hours. On Tuesday, July 3, my three movers came out.

This was the worst overall moving experience I've had out of 17 professional moving companies in past 40 years including other Two Men and a Truck moves! My major issues are: I asked one of your moving crew not to fold a valuable oriental rug in half and stuff it in a corner as it would damage it, and was told something to the effect that "Sir, you have a lot of stuff and its not all going to fit in the truck so I could carry it in my pickup if I didn't like it." This led to a very uncomfortable confrontation for…
Update*** March 2026 Carey is denying his employees signed on my behalf without my approval. I have plenty of documents proving such. IF ANYONE HAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE LIKE I HAD PLEASE EXPOSE THEM, GO FILE WITH BBB this company deserves an F. I will be taking this to the news. If enough people want to come to forward. I'd love to get your statements. **Update** It's now going to be February and still no refund no fixing things. The manager Casey does quid pro quo when trying to resolve issues.
Hi, C. We‘re sorry to see you were disappointed in your recent service. We’d love to hear more about your experience. Please contact our team at [phone removed] so we can discuss further. Thank you!
Wish I haven't gave the 60$ tip in advance (before they got their pay tap) they still overcharged me for non existed 15 min. It took them 5 min to prepare the bill and get the iPad, and for this 2 min they charged me 15 min of time. Even though they arrived late at 9.10, but charged from 8.45 even though they said they will charge me 15 min each way, they charged for gas refill time before departing. For the way back they charged 15 min, which as expected.
We used two men and a truck a few months back to help us move from the beach side into the city. The workers showed up on time, but everything after that was pretty much terrible. It took the three of them 5 hours to move what took our last movers (moving the exact same items) a year ago 3 hours. Then they got “lost” for 45 minutes and charged us for that in our total. They also didn’t bother wrapping any of the furniture so they damaged 3 of our wooden consoles/dressers.
Original packing at the old house went well. Things were well wrapped and protected. Problems started at the new address. One of the guys got heat exhaustion and dropped out of the action. They should have called someone after that to assist but didn't. Single guy dragged our leather armchair up the stars and scratched the leather. I instructed them on how to take apart the bed (its a large King bed and complex). They took it apart far more than it needed to be and resulted in time consuming reassembly.
Vernon, we are sorry to hear there were some problems during your move Saturday. Holidays are especially busy time for us. We called another mover to finish unpacking your belongings that day, however, he was on another move and could not get there fast enough.
Our companies experience with this moving company has been distasteful to say the least. We have used various moving companies in the past as well as Two Men in other states. As we own 14 various property companies and many properties through out Bay & Walton County. The movers were absolutely careless, unhelpful, and we are almost positive under the influence. When reporting this to the office we received nothing but attitude from, "Tim", as he exclaimed, "if nothing is broken then there isn't a problem".
We are sorry, but unfortunately we cannot locate any customer without a name in our system. We consider this a spam. However, if you do have concerns about anything regarding your move, we encourage you to give us a call at [phone removed].

In their own words
Highly recommend Two Men and a Truck Communication was excellent from start to finish. They called the day before just to confirm everything was still good, which I really appreciated. The two guys who showed up arrived a few minutes early and got right to work. The price was exactly as quoted, no surprises. The crew they sent did a great job — efficient, careful, and professional. They represented the company very well.
The experience from the initial quote to the farewell was one to pass on! The gentleman (I can't remember his name -shame on me) that I had gotten the initial quote from broke everything down for me. I had at least 30 questions (I wasn't sure which place-house,condo,townhouse or even city I really wanted to move to so he worked with me) and he was so patient and made feel like a valued customer.

We recently moved my mother-in-law to a new apartment. We had Marcus and Chris in GA. It was by far the best moving experience we've ever had, they were professional, extremely competent, polite, careful and very accommodating to some off requests. We even threw a curve ball at them with an additional unplanned stop and they had no issue with it whatsoever. Marcus driving the truck was fascinating to watch, he handled it very well. There was one item that was slightly damaged on the move, which is always expected.
We moved 400 miles within Florida from Panama City Beach to Winter Haven. We had a 2 bedroom, 1st floor apartment. Moving to a 1st floor house. We were quoted $5000. The two men moved every single items. Boxes (ours), king bed, full bed, multiple large heavy dressers, TV units, 4 Flatscreen 70"", 55" x2 and a 40",fridge, freezer, sectional leather sofa, various smaller appliances vacuum cleaners, steamers. They even helped with unpacked smaller items...packing into our boxes.
