I would not recommend Two Men and a truck from Gainesville area to anyone. I had used Two Men and a Truck for most of my moves from other areas without any issues, but this one was very poor service. The two guys sent broke my mattress by pulling it by the sim, dropped a box and damaged the content and then played the game that they didn't know what happened.

Do not hire this company if you expect fair and professional treatment. I am a senior citizen who hired Two Men and A Truck to move me from Gainesville, FL to Jensen Beach FL. A one day move. I packed belongings myself. (1) To begin with, the driver of the team, convinced me that a computer desk could not be moved downstairs to the truck without first disassembling it in its entirety.

Terrible experience with Joe who insisted that I had received an estimate when I had not. I was calling to discuss the details of my move in order to get an estimate. Joe argued with me and insisted that I’d already received one and had already discussed my move. He would not listen to what I was saying, was rude and unhelpful and when he ultimately realized he was incorrect, continued to be patronizing.

1 hour into the job nothing loaded but going over paperwork. Two men needed to put a blanket over a small dresser. When told that the list was not the same was told it’s extra time for a king size bed because they had originally quoted a queen size so the time was extra. I had Greek Moving company come from south Florida that loaded and unloaded faster. The only time they work at a normal pace is when I come near the area they are working at.

These people lost shelves from an expensive antique desk; then just basically said, "too bad, so sad, we're not going to do anythiing." They supposedly left them 'in the same room' with the desk rather than following proper judgement and putting these shelves back. All I wanted was cost of the materials.

Stay away from these scam artists. For a two bedroom apartment they tried to estimate 16,000$!! Are you kidding me. I might as well throw away everything. Got a real quote and they said these guys are notorious for this!

I had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck!! Joe contacted me as soon as I made my online request and talked me through everything. There were no hidden costs or fees. On moving day, the movers were on time and got to work right away. Cody was the only name I can remember, but all four of my guys were amazing. Very courteous and professional. They didn’t waste any time and were so fast. They took great care of my furniture and belongings. It was a great experience from beginning to end!!!

Two Men and a Truck helped us move my mom from independent living to assisted living in her retirement community. The office staff on the phone were very kind and helpful, even when we had to push her move back a day. Our movers were very professional and kind. They took a lot of care with my mom’s items. They helped us move furniture around in the new apartment as we figured out how everything would fit. Our mom was emotional about the move, and our movers were very respectful of her and her things.
