Two Men and a Truck Moving

The worst experience of a move I could have possibly had. My move was a week ago and they damaged my furniture, scratched my walls, split the door off its hinge, and put a small hole in the door. The movers lectured me on a cash tip over a card tip, used vulgar language, complained how they had another move, and took their time moving slowly and charging me more money. I used Two Men and a Truck almost a year ago and had the best experience. This time, I moved less items, and got charged for longer time.

An absolute NIGHTMARE. This was the worst moving experience ever. Movers showed up 3 hours late. By then, my family had completely moved my entire kitchen and both bathrooms to the new unit, which was literally 10 footsteps across the hall from my previous apartment. By the time the movers arrived, they needed to move my bedroom furniture for two rooms, my recliners, and 8 bins from my storage closet. I repeatedly had to ask my brother not to assist the movers because I was paying heavily for a service.

Two Men and a Truck arrived on Monday, March 25th and one of them was brand new. Being that I was moving into new construction, I should’ve requested experienced movers but now that is neither here or there. With that being said, when I booked the move, the receptionist gave me an estimate of 3 hours after I told her everything that needed to be moved and the distance. It took 5 hours. I gave a deposit of $290 to book the move and then paid $743 at the end.

Im adding an update to my review. I never received a call from management as I requested. But later down the line, I surprisingly received a full refund. For that, I am grateful. Below is my original review: I needed a treadmill picked up from a business and then delivered to my home. The place is about 15-20 minutes away. I was quoted a price close to $600, which is ridiculous. I had to pay a $290 deposit. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen issue, I had to cancel.

Unbelievably sloppy - THEY FORGOT TO BRING SUPPLIES! Hired them for a full service move across the city. They were supposed to pack my things up into boxes, load them onto the truck, and haul them. All pretty standard moving company stuff. I got the move scheduled about two weeks in advance. And confirmed the details over the phone at least once. The day of the move comes along, and they don't have anything with them aside from the truck and a hand cart. No boxes, or tape, or any other packing supplies.

Extremely disappointed in this company, this company hired individuals who do not have the proper training but took anyone they could get to do moves. They disassembled two bed frames and lost over 80 screws and bolts - i had to go out and buy new screws and bolts not to mention they did not even put the bed back together correctly and tried to cover it up. they put the headboard on backwards on one bed and 3 out of 8 wood slates for the box frame.

⭐️ Poor Rating ⭐️ Oh, what a delightful experience! If you ever wanted to witness the true meaning of "take your money and run," look no further. This organization has mastered the art of record-keeping—at least when it comes to collecting payments. I mean, who needs to keep track of cancellations, right? I called within the 72-hour window to cancel my reservation, and surprise, surprise—they have no record of it! It’s almost as if they’re playing a game of hide-and-seek with my cancellation request.

I have used Two Men and a Truck on four occasions in two different states, including twice with this facility. The first move with them was in-town and I worked with Victoria who was terrific. The second move was out-of-state and things appeared to be going well again. We paid almost $26,000 for this move and certainly expected it to be. Upon delivery of our belongings, we noticed that quite a few items were missing and several were broken.
