Two Men and a Truck Moving

Very slow movers take double the time. They make a follow-up call to get a good review and when you tell them how bad your move was, or movers kept your stuff, they never return your call or don't want to solve it. I would recommend every other company on this planet than Two Men and a Truck. Movers are extremely slow, one of the 4 movers showed up 2 hours late - that slowed done the 3 movers, as one guy would just sit in the truck on phone.

I spent so much $ on this move and am very disappointed. The movers were nice guys and tried their best but just weren’t good at the job. They didn’t pack the truck well so we ended up having things that we were not able to move. They screamed and argued with each other about how to pack the truck and then unpacked into our storage unit with so much unused space in the middle that I had to reorganize it myself to fit everything.

It would be zero stars if I could. They damaged about everything I own. Their quote was grossly miscalculated and the morning or the move they called to cancel telling me they didn’t have people to do the move. The people who came did what they could with little to no training at all and terrible moving dolly’s that damaged my home. After finishing at almost 3am not having to to reassemble the items they took apart we needed to travel back to my old home because they forgot the paperwork.

I was quoted $350 originally. When I refused, they said they would dispatch from a closer location and it would only be $200, if I waved the valuation fee ($60), for 1 hour. I agreed to the adjusted quote of $200 It should have only taken the 1 hour that I was quoted but unfortunately, first they passed by my house and had to go around the block. Then, one of the guys had to use my toilet for #2 and he clogged it. They visited with my cats and they took an extra amount of time in the truck writing up the invoice.

I have moved upwards of 10-15+ times in my life and I have started to utilize movers more recently to help me as my family has grown over the past several years. I utilized Two Men and a Truck with my most recent local move since I figured I could possibly save some money and effort by utilizing their movers and their truck instead of me paying for both separately as I have done in the past. While I was happy with being able to get everything moved in a timely manner, the downside of using them was significant.

Unreliable - at best. Drivers hit building, no employees at the office on a Saturday. Don’t move on a weekend - you will have NO support! Booked TMAAT for my elderly mother’s move to retirement community. Movers arrived 4 1/2 hrs after booked time (contract says 3 hr window). After arrival, movers hit the side of the building- including gas lines- with the truck, resulting in police and fire response and a building evacuation.

Terrible experience! 3-hour move turned into 9 hours. The truck broke down, not all items fit, and my husband had to step in to get the job finished when he arrived home. Had to ask movers to put belongings in the garage that wouldn’t fit in the truck. Carpet protection was requested but poorly used, leaving wet, dirty coverings in our new home. One mover left a trail of sweat soaked paper towels I had to pick up. At one point he was lying on the ground due to a leg cramp.

Terrible!! The movers from 2 Men & A Truck did damage to our hardwood floors, our walls, and our baseboards. The mover also took apart some of our furniture to transport and then never reassembled the furniture upon arrival. The movers also left some of the pieces of furniture in the garage and some in other rooms. Some of the furniture that was reassembled had missing pieces that were not missing when they were first put on the truck.
