Two Men and a Truck Moving

I was called one hour into the scheduled time, stating that they had to cancel due to being shortstaffed. They rescheduled me for the next day, but movers did not show up until about 4 PM despite being told they would show between eight and 11. When they did come, I was told that they did not bring one of my pieces because it was damaged while in their storage unit.

TL;DR: Avoid this place! They are shady and incompetent. This place is so unprofessional! I made an appointment two weeks in advance for a Monday between 2-4pm. They never showed up. Didn't call, email or text about the situation. In fact, I had to call them to inquire about where the drivers were and what was going on. I had to reschedule to Thursday that week, so waste my time and money all over again, hoping that they would come.

Honestly the worst. We used them to move almost a year ago and had damaged items. Was in contact with them about the damages and have not seen any kind of response on there part to take care of my damages. Damage report was filled out on the moving day and never heard anything. Emailed and called them and no response back. After being in the place for a little while noticed more damaged items and reported it to them right away and still no response. Sent email to corporate and still have heard nothing.

I initially would have given this company a good review, but my advise is, do not pay the final bill, or tip them, or submit a review until the dust settles and you know what really happened. They stole from me and I heard their employee on speaker phone so I know the boss knows what happened too. I submitted a police report and talked to the company and the authorities several times, but nothing was done.

We used Two Men and a Truck back in mid/late March to move into a new home. Movers themselves were great. They did cause some damage to our door / stairway. The movers immediately documented it and contacted their boss so it would be taken care of. They let me know that someone would be in contact in about two weeks to fix the damage.

******Updated 8/12/24 Owner responded to my review on 7/30/24 (2 weeks ago) apologizing for the lapse in communication and dropping the ball with my move. HOWEVER I have STILL YET to hear from them in regards to repairing the damages to my furniture. They stated in response that they will take appropriate actions to ensure that this does not continue to happen. I WOULD NOT BEILIEVE THEM!!!!

I was so excited to use two men and a truck on good referrals and my own experience 10 years ago. Our experience as a nightmare. Only one guy knew what he was doing "Frank" the lead, the rest of the crew tore up the walls, broke precious family items (due to not wrapping and handling properly) and the coup de grâce of the experience--they actually busted up the brick steps on our home, causing over a thousand dollars worth of damage.

I chose Two Men and a Truck to help me move because of the good reviews that I read online. Little did I know that, my move, would turn out so badly. It started with the movers bringing a a small truck. I asked why a small truck was being used for my move instead of a big truck. The driver said appointments after 1:00 p.m. have to use any remaining trucks. I was never told there would not be any large trucks available for my afternoon appt. The Mover then said they might not be able to move all my possessions.
