Two Men and a Truck Moving

My tv was working before it went on the truck and now it's not. I called to make a claim but Austin never called me back. I called again and he proceeded to argue with me about how it wasn't their fault. Now a gift from my husband is broken. I paid these people 480$ for this move and I didn't even get an apology. I was told because I didn't see them drop it there was nothing they could do, I had to leave to open the door at the final destination. Please use someone else this company is garbage and unprofessional.

First, the ladies in the office( Allie and Tammy) were consistently great. Everything was arranged early for our move, and everything went according to plan. Movers showed up on time , were very organized, got our contents to storage, and were very polite. Move back was smooth and easy. BUT- in unloading our boxes- we realized 2 of my wife's small canvases and a lamp shade were missing ( we reported this right after the move and all the boxes were opened)..

Even though they was slow to get to my apartment and the clock started sooner than what was quoted and my card got charged over $112 more than what I was quoted because the movers got lost and it took them over 30 minutes to part the truck, I was still happy. Even after they told me at the end and showed me what they broke, I was still cool with it because it was hot, and they worked hard and I shouldn't of had to touch anything.

Quick facts: Single home move. Unload of one 26’ moving truck. I have moved several times with several different companies and never had this kind of experience. All of the boxes were labeled and there was more than one person available at all times to answer questions and give direction. Paid a little under $1000 for 5 hours of service. See attached photos. I’m going to start this review by saying that the three guys who unloaded my moving truck were mostly polite and respectful.

Although I have used them numerous times in the past with satisfactory results, this time was a nightmare - and the nightmare continues still today. The management (namely, the owner) of this franchise is, as a previous reviewer stated, disingenuous at best. The move took 2.5 times longer than the original quote. Movers were unprepared, unenthusiastic, careless and painfully slow. Towards the end of the move, my husband was unloading the truck himself to speed things up.

My move was on April 11, 2020 with the Northport Two Men and A Truck location. I sent in my initial feedback to Two Men and a Truck on April 15, 2020. I spoke by phone with the Northport office to follow up with my feedback on my issues with my move and I was told resolution of my negative experience were "handled internally with the movers who worked your move." It is now April 25, 2020 and there has been no resolution whatsoever, As such, I am posting this review and would advise caution to anyone seeking to use…

My sister recently moved to Tuscaloosa and used Two Men. She asked me for help on the payment and I agreed to pay half (or $450 of $896). I called up Two Men and gave them my credit card information and instructed them to only charge $450 of the balance. They agreed and said they would run the card later that afternoon. I was told the conversation was recorded. A few days after the move I noticed my card had been charged the entire amount of $896. As such, I called up Garret to inquire about the error in payment.

Slow as molasses. It took the movers 5 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment. Took 20 minutes to get to my apartment (click starts when they leave the store), 15 minutes going over policy (this could have been addresed the day before the move). It took an additional 15 minutes for them to park the truck. They took photos of my belongings with out my permission. One of the movers had an odor on them. They asked my boyfriend to pick up up 4 legs to the couch because they weren't allowed to.
