Two Men and a Truck Moving

Overall disappointed with the service. Have used another franchisee in the past with much more professional service. It's my belief it was some of the movers first day on the job. Careless moving, many of my wood furniture has dings or mars on it now. A large antique wood table which should have been moved by 2 men was moved by one. I had to tell the kids when to grab a dolley, showing no training had occurred.

We just had the worst moving experience with this company. We went through the estimation process listing all the items we wanted to have moved. They suggested 4 men and 5 hours total moving time. They sent us 4 men who had never worked together as a team before and it was a complete disaster. They were constantly arguing with each other which slowed things down significantly. They were the opposite of efficient because of their dislike for one another and we are the ones who payed the price.

Can't complain't about the service. It's the unethical practice that threw everthing out the window. Some how my sister-inlaw debit card ended up with them by end of the move. They decided to charge her debit card at a gas station. We moved to Central Illinois, and the charge was the night of the move once complete, in Planfield. Keep in mind my SIL was no where near Planfield for months. Again, everything that happened went out the window, very unethical from this company.

I have used two men and a truck several times over the years and felt they were good and reasonably priced. Never again Truck wouldn't hold all the contents of my home, causing me to rent a box truck to finish. Count on whatever they estimate as your minimum final cost. I got quoted just over 2k to move 10 miles. I find that cost completely ridiculous. I was assured that the final cost would be based on time and might come in less. One crew member boasted they got me 500.00 under estimate.

I am not giving this business one star only because the administrative staff and the movers themselves have a friendly disposition. However, the way the young men packed the truck was careless, even reckless. When our items arrived to our new destination, our boxes were crushed (including those that were clearly labeled FRAGILE), two of our mattresses were not wrapped as requested so they were filthy, one of our TV sets was completely shattered, our plates were broken, our diploma frames and paintings were…

The movers were nice enough and nothing was damaged. However, a 15.7 lb box of 7 books was somehow lost in the process. Although staff at the office initially seemed concerned about the revelation, I was never informed about what I could do to recoup the $258.93 loss. The response was simply a shrug and "we'll keep an eye out and let you know." Followed by no contact until I physically showed up at the office multiple times.

I spoke to a Lori her customer service was subpar to say the least. She was so busy fast talking me that her listening skills went straight out the door. She went on to explain how she had been doing her job for 14 years but not once listening to the actual items that were being moved just going by the size of my storage unit . I spoke to someone else prior to her and she gave me one estimate Lori however triple her estimate. So be careful who you speak with, they seem to determine the price.

Worst company ever! We spent 5K moving locally, and had to reschedule when the1st days crew couldn't finish the move. Office was told size of move & number of boxes needed. Crew never showed with ANY boxes, and were going to charge for any boxes used? They took over several unnessary days & we had to finish up ourselves with a Penske truck rental. Some guys were fine, others weren't, but the company overall isn't good! Do not work with Two Men and a Truck! They will rip you off!!
