Two Men and a Truck Moving

The most unprofessional, disrespectful movers and the worst move I’ve ever had in. They damaged several personal items and 2 expensive pieces of furniture, dragged a peloton on the ground, left furniture on the ground in mud, tracked mud into my home. They also went to another location without telling me they were going there and wasted an hour of my paid time.

The 3 gentleman who came for the move were pleasant to work with. Very hard working and kind. My first issue here is that I was over charged for the move. The rate I was charged was for 4 movers, when there were only 3. The next day I called the office and spoke to someone about my concern. They were very understanding and took a message for me. He said they would get back to me on this issue. Two days go by and I did not hear back. I called once again and spoke with someone else.

The guys that came to move were very nice and fast. My poor review is based on the service I received after the move. One of the feet of our couch was damaged beyond repair, the walls in our new home were dented and damaged due to them trying to move the couch up the stairwell, the door frame was damaged by trying to force the couch in, and the couch has scrapes on the back now because of the door frame. It’s less than a year old. I put a claim in with the movers immediately before they left.

Terrible company to deal with. They were scheduled to show up at 12:30. They called the prior night to confirm that we would be here at 12:30. They didn't show up. They didn't call or give us any info. I was finally able to get ahold of someone at 2:30, I was told they were on there way and will be here in 18 minutes. I called to cancel at 3:30, I was told they would not return our $100.00 deposit. Capital one disagrees.

Have moved quite a few times in my life due to work and can honestly say that moving with these guys was the worst experience I ever had or have ever heard of. Unprofessional crew that cursed often, dmg'd furniture, and we're not exactly energetic. Office charged for mattress covers and other protective items that were requested but not used. Floor runners were also requested but not used....yes they tried to charge for all of these.

If I could give zero stars I would. Let me start by saying this was supposed to take place 2 weeks ago, I purchased 2100.00 salon station that were brand new .2 of them… this company even moved them to the owner home 2 months before I purchased them. Not a problem… but when it came time for mine to be moved the employees were rude, unprofessional, and damaged the stations. Even asked the seller to sigh a paper that they weren’t damaged by them. Needless to say. She asked them to stop what they were doing.

I would not use this company again. They charge you from the time they leave their office, to the time they get back to the office (which can significantly increase your total move time and cost, and can be easily abused). For example, I was told the movers would call and tell me when they were on their way, but they did not.

The movers were friendly but despite my request to watch the wood floors they left scratches in both places. They left scratches on several pieces of furniture while swearing about how difficult the work was. When they damaged my 50 year old dresser that was passed down to me by my late father they asked for my tools to try and fix it. Suffice is to say they failed to do so and when I asked about it they seemed out out by the situation. Even the wording on the report says “supposedly we damaged the door”.
