Two Small Men With Big Hearts

Terrible, horrible will never use again!!!! They were 4 hours late called me 40 minutes after the final arrival window to tell me they didn’t have drivers and aren’t sure when. I was called another 1.5 hours later to tell me they found someone but aren’t sure what time, someone would call me. I called back at 12:30 to find out when my truck would come told I’d get a call. I got a call at 1:15 telling me they’re there. 15 minutes after my final move out time.

My brother in-law hired this company to move yesterday. When they were late, phone calls were made to the company and he was told that they couldn't get a hold of the movers. He waited over an hour for the movers to show up (they never did) and the company had stopped answering his phone calls. We had to scramble to find a truck and friends to help move. Completely unprofessional.

I hired this company to do a local move (Burnaby to Surrey) and they are now claiming to have no recollection of the box that is missing now. It has been 2 weeks of me trying to contact them and this company isn't responding to me. At least reply to me if you're going to loose my belongings. I have been trying to contact them since the day after my move. I would not recommend this company if this is how they are going to treat paying customers. What a rip off to pay that much only to have them ignore me.

I think the worst thing a moving company can do is promise that they'll show up at a particular time, and then the day of the move, dispatch and the moving crew are telling you that you're incorrect about the time! I had a copy of the confirmed email indicating the time the movers were to arrive to start my move this Tuesday, and they showed up an hour and a half later. I was scrambling during that time as I was scheduled to move into a brand new unit, and was told by the condo developer don't be late.

I’m incredibly disappointed in my experience with this company, as I was overcharged $200 and have been waiting a week for them to respond to my emails regarding my experience. I ended up paying $640 to move a studio apartment’s worth of stuff when I was quoted an estimate of $450 total, and the move went on an hour longer than expected due to delays with the team causing me to miss my move-in reservation.

We originally booked this company for our move to the Island. They quoted us $4,400 to move a four-bedroom home, two bathrooms, a home gym and a woodworking shop. Once we reviewed how their insurance works, and how they approach the move, it didn’t add up. The price also seemed unrealistically low for the amount of furniture and equipment involved. When we looked into reviews from other sites, there were enough negative experiences that we decided to get a second opinion.

Absolutely the worst moving company ever. I bought a cooler from another store and asked these guys to move it, they said they'd show up by 1:30pm but didn't show up by 2pm. Then they came into the store and one guy was trying to move the cooler while the other "senior" guy told him to stop because he doesn't "know what he's doing." The senior guy then came into with some floor mats acting as if he were trying to load the cooler onto them, assuring me that he's done this many times and got it under control.

We had booked Two Small Men at the end of April for our end of May move. A week before, I received a call that they would no longer be able to do our move. We were offered three days later or two days prior to the day we had booked a month out. They ended up having to cancel which was really frustrating, a week before our scheduled move.
