I have to edit this review as my first initial impression was them taking time packing. That quickly changed, and most of my families possessions were put in bags, destroyed, and just blatantly not packed at all. Several of the workers were constantly smoking weed and it nearly caused me thousands of dollars fumigating my home I was selling, it nearly caused my home sale to fall through. The new homebuyers saw the home during the move.
This was, without question, the worst experience I've ever had with a moving company. The movers arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes late without any communication or courtesy call. During the move, the movers stopped at a store for personal reasons, leaving my belongings in the truck (I have text messages from the movers documenting this). When my furniture was delivered, my mattress cover smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.
The crew arrived early and was friendly and they wrapped everything very well. However, they did not have a truck that fit everything so the guy had to work off the clock, take an hour to come back get another truck and we had worry about our stuff not making it there to our new location the next day. The next day they had some of the same crew and some different people. Since everything was changed around they didn't know how to unpack the furniture and put it together properly since they didn't take it apart.
I’m truly disappointed to have to leave a bad review. We looked at all of the reviews before we chose Two Twigs Moving and there were so many good reviews. Sadly this was not our experience with using them. They quoted us two/three hours of moving our items out of our house and it took them 6 hours. They charge hourly so you can see how the price we were quoted has now doubled.

I hired this company to move me recently. They moved and packed everything like I wanted them to. They were quick moved me I thought well. Problem is after everything is in I am finding wood chipped on all wood furniture. Older furniture that are my favorite have serious wood chips on them. The company owner sent me the insurance form to fill out. I have not filed yet. The main guy mover was great the other two workers move most of wood furniture not very good handling stuff.

I’m missing 600.00 bucks worth of tools, they took ALL MY ammunition, that I used for hunting. YETI, cooler is gone. The wound never recommend them to anyone. The more, I unpack, I notice more is missing. Tyler is great, but the employees are thevies. I caught them going through my tools, opening boxes. Everything was labeled to its location. I think the company is good overall, but the employees will steal anything that perks their interest! Be aware! I’m out several thousand dollars!!!!!

Great customer service during pre-move. Responsive and understanding. Packing guys arrived on time and finished in the time estimated and quoted. Moving crew was efficient and courteous. We only paid for packing materials used. They listened to and responded to furniture packing concerns. Not a single thing was scratched or broken. Best of all no surprise charges (unlike other moving experiences we have had). In fact our final moving total was less than originally quoted!

Despite the intense summer heat, Charleston’s humid weather, and even the rain during our move, Tee, James, and Steven worked for 11 hours, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., helping us from start to finish with kindness and professionalism. I was truly impressed by their professionalism. I could see how carefully they handled every piece of furniture and how much effort they put into protecting our new home from any damage. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
