Came into store to rent my fourth storage and purchase moving supplies and could barely hear the cashier lady speak thanks to the hip hop convention going on upstairs. Windows shaking and shelves rattling. Very rude conduct by manager during business hours. Save the celebration for when doors locked and shop closed for day. Can't believe Uhaul conducts business like this. Very disappointed.
I retract my previous review.... This place is okay but they will gouge your pockets with a smile if they see you struggling they will up the price on you ..... I feel like I'm in debt... they auctioned off my unit and then had the nerve to tell me that I still owed them...... Keep an eye on your summary and don't get behind on payments because they will make you think that you owe a whole lot.....
Asked for all my information everything credit card number expiration date and pin and when I arrived ask me for secondary addresses phone numbers names in order to do a contract for one month after providing two addresses and the phone number and actually called in front of me to see if the number was valid went on to ask me for further information and said that it was state law and that it was for my own good I told her do you have anything posted stating that it's state law she said no I walked out of there ask…
We rented a van with a utility dolly and realized we didn’t have the dolly. We went back to get it (around 2:45pm) but the front desk employee had gone to lunch. The sign said she’d return at 3:00, so we decided to wait. However, it is now 3:20 and the place is still closed and no one has returned. It’s really disappointing because we need that utility dolly and the rent time on our van has started and we can’t use it yet.
Their door says they "will return 12:40" yet here I am after 1 when I had a pick up scheduled at 1 and they still aren't here... I have stuff to do and packing to get done. There isn't a number to get ahold of anyone either. Terrible customer service. Update: Demetria came back from lunch late. And rather apologizing for putting the wrong time on her door, she gives me attitude for me being upset. Hell yeah I'm upset.
They have worst bad customer service. The lady on the front desk she is so rude. We go for to get the truck for rent and I was asking for the sizes and she is too Rudy with me. If customer wants to know the price and size what’s you problem to tell the customer. Ever worst experience.
They were use less when placing my order I told the guy I needed a big Transport I showed up in the am to a trailer that might haul a smart car I was so pissed was told I'd get a call back on the matter over a month and still nothing
The heavy set girl in the front counter was very rude and had a bad attitude. Wouldn’t recommend coming here to rent a truck or storage space

Excellent movers: professional, on time, fast and friendly. No problems. Highly recommend for a smooth move. This was a 3 bedroom, 3 man crew move.
Well I was already having a bad day and I thought it was going to be that way all day. When I walked in I was greeted by a very professional front desk lady who was extremely informative and courteous. She answered all of my questions and was very helpful. Overall I had a great experience. While I was there I was able to meet both ladies that work the front desk and both were a breath of fresh air. They were very professional and helpful. I will be recommending this business to all of my friends and family.

This store is God sent. We got a 4x8 storage box from palm springs and had a flat. We called the store that gave it to us and we told them we called road assistance for an hour and we had kids in the car, they didn't care. I called this store and they sent me help from la perla tires. May God bless your business. You guys save me and my family!!
Ask for Destiny if you can, this knowledgeable, polite, and professional should be running all of the Bakersfield Uhauls, she was the only Uhaul employee who made this experience exceptional 👏, every other location and employee either over charged or under preformed, pick Panama Uhaul to help with your moving needs. …
