In their own words
They have great customer service.... Until they get your money. I was straight lied to about my delivery date. They picked up my cube a day late. They claimed that they didn't have a notice in the system that I had called for pick up. When I called to complain, Scott seemed not to give a rats ass that all of my belongings were sitting on the curb as I drove from North Carolina to Missouri.
We moved my daughter from St. Louis to Colorado. We filled 2 u-pack containers with her stuff. They stored it for 5 months and the delivered it to Colorado. When we opened the containers in Colorado, everything was ruined. There was 4 inches of muddy water that entered the cubes sometime during storage. All her stuff was moldy and most suffered water damage. All the wood was swollen and warped. Mold and silt was everywhere. These morons offered her pennies on the dollar for the damage.
This was the worst moving experience that I have ever had. The size of a 28' trailer was to small to move my belongings safely. What all I needed to supply the moving staffers was not clear. By the time I went out and bought everything it was not a deal to move with this company. The company that was suggested to pack the truck was horrible! They really did not care if our belongings were destroyed. I would suggest that you avoid this company if you have nice things.
Very unhappy. The company they hired to pack me ruined all my furniture. Antiques ruined. I could have hired my own packers if I knew they would hire someone not reputable. I trusted they had great vendors. I complained and SUPPOSEDLY the VP was to contact me...nope nada nothing over a month later....DO NOT USE THEIR PACKERS IN WASHINGTON STATE
It's like they went offroading with the trailer. Took 2weeks to figure out how to get it to our house. Everything inside the trailer was covered in a thick layer of dust. How does this happen? And the money back for not being on time is a joke, when there are multiple drop off hubs. 😒
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
U-Pack was a good option. They delivered a trailer on time. Cost was reasonable; better than PODS or Pack-Rat. Wish the trailer was lower to the ground, of course, but it came with a ramp so we could load. The trailer is 28-foot, and you can use the appropriate amount or even use the whole trailer if you want to pay for it. We wrapped all our items in packing blankets (that we own) and we also used shrink wrap, which if you don't already do, you definitely should.
Hi, C Baker! We appreciate your business and this feedback. We will be passing the feedback along to our teams in St. Louis as well so they are aware. Wishing you all the best in your new home!
Just moved from the West coast. I had to call twice (once for general questions and once to change the payment method on file) and the customer service people were great. I paid exactly what they estimated (no hidden fees tacked on out of the blue.) The drivers for both pick up and drop off were professional and courteous and communicated well I'm advance so I would know what to expect. They both handled the forklift very well so I was never worried about property damage.
Thank you for moving with us, Jennifer! We are thrilled you had a five-star experience and appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review. Enjoy your new home!
I had a fantastic experience with Upack. I was moving to Tucson and needed a quick way to move my stuff without getting a truck. This was by far the best way. I used two Relocubes for my now two bedroom apartment and they worked perfectly. I packed them myself and I was very happy they arrived safe and secure, with nothing visibly damaged. The driver came about 10 am on drop off, and came about 10 am the day I requested pick up.
We had nice experience with U-Pack. The costumer service is friendly and helpful. They explain how things work thoroughly and work with you to set up the shipment. They understand that you have so much on your plate (while moving) and are patient. The shipping arrives on time and you could track things real-time. As for the content, the container comes empty. We were new to this, so we started packed things in a semi-chaotic way, and we decided to put lots of cushions between items in the container.
We're glad you had a nice experience with us, Hans! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and leave a review!
