United Van Lines Movers St. Louis

After five previous moves, we were looking forward to a smooth transition to our forever home. We chose United Van Lines, expecting the best coverage and a hassle-free experience. Our quote was $6,061.11 for a move from ******** to ********. However, the issues began when we struggled to secure a moving date. Despite numerous inquiries, we were only informed on February 5th that our belongings would be delivered the next day, coinciding with our house closing.

I do NOT recommend hiring this company. When we moved and our stuff arrived at our new house, our couch was damaged. There are rips on all corners. We submitted our claim with the company and it was denied. Once the truck was packed and loaded at our original location, they required a signature with no explanation at all. It was our first time moving and we did it through my husbands company so we did not think we had anything to worry about. We were wrong.

RenoRelo Worldwide, via United VanLines was a huge mistake. At over $7,300 I was expecting so much more. Initially a person was scheduled to come out and see what we were moving but instead decided to do a video chat at the last minute, of which the audio was only one way so I didn't know if she could even hear me despite numerous attempts asking her to give me a thumbs up if she can, she could but just chose to ignore me.

Do not use this company, I was treated with dis-respect; individuals who loaded my home in Denver from Buehler - part of United Van Lines were unprepared for a piano and antique items even though they were in the bid. My bid was over by 3000 pounds even though a loader accused me of lying about my items. I had damaged items at destination and have reached out to customer service with no response from Heather Pennebaker. I was told she would get back to me - that was August 1, 2018.

Wow buyers beware...........we asked for a quote to move 11,000 lbs of house hold goods from San Diego to Las Vegas. We had suffered a fire loss and the items were cleaned, restored and repacked by Serve Pro.......(who is great) This person was rude and insulting and would not consider doing business with us because he wanted all the items unpacked for his review. We told him that is not necessary and we have our own Insurance for coverage of any damage that might happen.

I filed a complaint with the BBB against Browning Moving and Storage located in Lakeland Florida because that's the only contact I had and that's who I paid to move me, but their response to my complaint was to file it against United Van Lines. So first, beware of who is responsible for your move. Browning Moving and Storage packed a box that was clearly marked 'CLEANING SUPPLIES" on two sides. They put the box directly on top of my server damaging the top, bottom and sides of the server.

TERRIBLE COMPANY! Honestly, I would never recommend hiring this company for your move. Initially, they seemed professional and like they cared about our moving needs, but once the move started, it all went downhill from there. The driver was careless with our stuff - and the delivery in Florida was terrible. They did not finish unpacking and made me sign the waiver for them to leave without doing any inventory check with me.

We moved long distance in the fall of 2022 with Mohawk United Van Lines. The entire experience was frustrating and protracted. Our items were mishandled. The unloaders were hired from a facebook add, and were inexperienced. There were 110 articles damaged. It took five months to complete the claims process. It took two weeks for United to contact the company performing the repairs and would not even talk to us about the unrepairable items needing replacement until after the repairs were complete.
