In their own words
DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT. WARNING! I hate writing negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the worst business interactions of my life. I found their ad while planning a move from Maine to Arizona. I spoke with Aiden, who asked what I was moving and when, quoted me $3,200, and scheduled the move. I paid a $1,900 deposit. I specifically asked whether the price would increase, and he replied by text that it would not and I could count on it.
If I could give them a negative rating, I would. Run, and run fast! Started out great. Confident sales person. “I’m your guy. Call me any time.” Until it got real and he stopped taking my calls. I was stuck with Loadrans after booking through Value Added moving. Value Added never disclosed they’re just a broker. They don’t move anything, despite telling me they were the leading moving company for the military. They take a deposit and then farm out your move.
This so called Veteran owned and Operated business will screw you over. My original quote was for $3400. I called them severel time wanting to update my inventory. Everytime I updated I was charged a fee. (Brokers fee). I even buffered my load by 15 med boxes so I could avoid an uncharted. Quote price now, $7400. I could of not been more transparent if I tried. Fast fed to the truck showing. 1st this they scheduled 1/2 a truck for a 1200 sf for a 1400 sf 3 bedroom house with a jacuzzi.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Any good reviews are FAKE! They reel you in, give you a great price, tell you all the right things... and as soon as they get your money, they drop you like a bad habit. ZERO customer support, ZERO communication, HORRID scheduling, ZERO accountabilty for their subcontractors... OH did I mention that they are not the company that is moving you? NOPE... they "sell" your shipment to the lowest bidder and that is who you are left to deal with. Those subcontractors are complete garbage also.
We had an extremely concerning experience with Value Added Moving and would STRONGLY caution others before using them. During the sales process, they presented themselves as a family-owned, veteran-owned moving company that operated their own trucks. At no point was it clearly disclosed that they were acting as a broker who would outsource the move to other companies.
Had a terrible experience with this company that is not even resolved. I was not aware this company was a broker until after another company arrived to grab my stuff this other company is completely MIA and has not responded to any attempts to contact them the broker who built this contract as well as customer service have been worthless in regards to solving any of the issues that have come up either.

Currently in contract with this company. We're moving from Seattle to Raleigh and originally when I spoke with Keith he assured me my move would take 14-21 days. We planned to live out of our suitcase for a week or two while waiting for the delivery. They picked up our stuff on 4/11 a week before we flew from Seattle so we wouldn't have to wait long in Raleigh for our stuff. I have since talked with Dima who explained to me x, y, and z reasons why it hasn't been delivered on time.
First of all, understand that Value Added Moving is only a broker. They are not the moving company. You do not know who you will actually be dealing with until they show up. And then the people who drove away with all your possessions are not even who delivers them. Let's just call this the ever increasing rate...Value Added Moving originally quoted us based on 40 boxes. What family of 4 living in a 3,600 square foot house would only have 40 boxes of possessions.

In their own words
VALUE ADDED MOVING did a great job helping me unload my 20 ft U-Haul. From the booking stage, he made the whole process smooth and seamless. He communicated clearly throughout, checked in for updates on my end, and coordinated well with the movers since my ETA kept changing. When the movers arrived, they were on time and very professional, even though they had to wait a bit because of my arrival time.
Hi, Allison. We are thrilled to learn that you had a positive experience with us!
Just moved office equipment last week with Value Added Moving. Honestly I was nervous-service, monitors, a bunch of sensitive electronics. Stuff that really shouldn't get shocked or tossed around. Anyway, Mike from the crew showed up early and they used anti-static wraps on the equipment, which I didn't even think about until they mentioned it. Pecked everything carefully, labeled cables, the whole thing, They even helped reconnect part of the network so we could get online again.
We truly appreciate your feedback. Mike and the crew from Value added moving protected your sensitive equipment with anti-static wraps, labeled cables, reconnected part of the network, and honored the quote, so we're glad the office move was less stressful.
Value Added movers adds no value to the moving process. Their methods of estimating costs and assessing inventory are poorly developed, resulting in the contracted moving company charging far, far more than the Value Added Movers estimates. Despite assurances from the Dispatch Manager and the Quality Control Manager that Value Add hires only the best qualified contractors on the Value Add select list. This was not the case.
We recently moved from Michigan to the Phoenix Metro area and Value Added Moving for the entire process including storage in Salt Lake City and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Anthony and Gerardo were absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. They handled our belongings with great care, communicated clearly throughout the move, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly where it needed to be.
We are delighted to hear about your positive experience with Anthony and Gerardo during your cross-country move to Phoenix Metro area!
