EDIT TO ADD: After requesting to speak with an employee at a higher level, they did hear me out, and did understand my frustration regarding how I was treated by the first employee. Ultimately, we negotiated to have two hours and the entire tip refunded with no insurance claims on the damaged furniture. Would not recommend. Multiple pieces of furniture damaged, multiple holes in walls, black scratches on the walls, missing parts to furniture, used our tools to assemble and disassemble (not their own).

Do your research, and don't trust them. Long story, feel free to read below. Maybe this company is great, maybe they do a good job for you, but they attempted to scam me out of over $200 in tips and bogus fees. It only changed when I called dispatch who was still inaccurate with descriptions of some fees. When the time to pay came along, they included a "mandatory" 20% tip ($132) and a "mandatory" heavy item fee ($150, discounted from $200), a $40 gas charge, and a $26 supplies fee. ISSUES: 1.

Vector did not even come close to completing 1/2 of what they said they’d do. Let me start by saying I thought I’d be able to get more packing done on my own, but a healing rib and my mom being diagnosed with, and having surgery for, breast cancer within a month made things extremely hectic. I had booked just a move, then changed the job to include partial packing. Admittedly, I called once more when I realized I would need a lot more help for a lot more packing.

The overall experience of this move was TERRIBLE. I personally have never written a review before, bad or good, but this needed to be said. Not only did they break a very expensive office window, but they went as far as to try to deny it, only to then admit they did it after arguing with them for several minutes. The customer service from the movers was some of the worst I have ever seen....they are paid by the hour, so they decided to go at an obnoxiously slow pace(probably to get over the 3 hour minimum).

We used Vector Moving to transport our household possessions from San Diego County in California to Sparks Nevada. While my spouse was diligent about packing as much as possible before the February 28th date of our move, I was much less responsible. The upshot was that on the day of the move, not only did the moving crew have to box many of the items which had not yet been packed, but they called in a packing specialist they knew to assist in the packing.

DO NOT use Vector moving for any reason. First, they under estimated the size truck we would need, and so we literally needed to get rid of 8 lounge chairs, an antique wash stand an office desk, and an end table. When they brought our furniture to our new address, they were so intent on leaving, they didn't even take shrink wrap off of our furniture. Plus that, our bedroom furniture, which was only 4 months old, is scarred irreparably.

Had an awful experience with this company. I’m using an alt account to avoid any harassment just in case. I never ever leave reviews on places but this was so awful I felt like I had to. I move a lot and don’t have much stuff, all the companies I’ve used always take about 1.5-2 hours to move all my stuff out and an addition 1.5-2 to settle me in. Vector on the other hand, took nearly 4 HOURS to move me out of a tiny 1 bedroom apartment.

Lack of communication about time of arrival and not wearing masks are my biggest complaints. I had a 4 hour window (12-4) waiting for a call, I got a text at 3:54pm saying it would be closer to 5. This was frustrating because I had wasted an entire afternoon waiting & had to cancel evening plans, and when I asked for a discount they offered an insulting $13 off.. when the drivers finally arrived they didn't even have masks on, but did a good job other than that.. hope nobody gets covid!
