Overcharged and under performed. Before you spend time reading this review and counter review- Just know the best and most reliable movers can be hired through the uhaul website- I have never been disappointed!! Showed up 8hrs late, charged me an additional 1.5 hours, at $120/hrs, that's almost 200$... the owner Is crazy, AND has some crazy tactics.... BEWARE, you will pay 4 additional fees; truck fee $149, credit card fee, packing materials fee, and the time for the movers to drive home.

The actual movers are such nice guys but that is the only thing I can say nice about this company. We were moving our elderly aunt from one assisted living facility to a different room in the same facility. We had them scheduled to arrive at 4pm on a Thursday (not by our choice, thats what they offered), at 5 pm they still were not there so we called them, we were advised they would ve arriving at 630 pm, at 7 pm we called again and said forget it and we would reschedule for the next day, at 815 p.

Terrible customer service, inability to help their customers after making mistakes and not listening to a customer. Charged a card I used for deposit after specifically telling them not to use it for final payment never contacted me to tell me that they were going to charge it nor were they able to resolve the issue when I contacted them. Not a professional company whatsoever. Uses subcontractors, and not internal employees.

1. They were 1 hour late with no explanation. 2. At the destination, they damaged an outside item. One member of the crew stated it was hit with furniture while moving into the home. They did not bring this to my attention. I had to find it and confront them about it. Spoke with Kelvin at Veterans Moving and he stated he will have someone swing by Home Depot today, get the part and install it. It is now 2 weeks later and they did not show up to fix it or contact me about it. 3.

I chose this company to support what I believed was a veteran-owned and operated business. I later learned that the individuals promoted as the “muscle” never served in the military.. From the start, there was clear miscommunication. The two movers arrived expecting to unload, despite my repeated confirmation that the job was to load a trailer for an out-of-state move. All household goods were packed in moving totes and boxes.

Being a veteran myself I thought I would support them. Never again they came said moving a peleton was a liability didn't bring tools to disassemble anything. Seemed like everything was a liability to move. confirm three times with the office person what stuff I had how many flights upstairs or were and yet they still didn’t come prepared and bought a truck that was too small.

I hope my review isn’t buried. I hired VMF to pack and load my grandmother’s cross-state move (to AL), using UPACK ABF as the trailer because VMF doesn’t move out of state. The two movers were kind and my grandmother generously tipped them. …
