Payed to have this company pack and put our items into a shipping container and spent a ton. At the last minute they told me they were busy and moved our date up to the same day they were packing and rushed through. I haven’t been able to assess the full damage yet. TVs were packed poorly. Items I asked not be packed were packed. Things were put in upside down. Furniture is missing bolts and screws. Knives were just thrown into boxes unwrapped. Tools just shoved into boxes dangerously.
I’m doing this review about 2 months late but better late than never. I honestly would not recommend this moving company. I thought I was getting a good deal finding them thru Groupon etc. I paid for 3 movers which I’ve never done before in prior moves. The movers were nice for the most part but very inexperienced in my opinion. Several furniture pieces were left behind. The truck wasn’t big enough.

Would not recommend. The movers seemed honest & reliable until they tried charging me $270 more than what my invoice stated for the rate I was quoted. Nor could they break down the pricing for the hidden fees. I did still tip them with cash bc they were good workers-just not honest. For a veteran moving company you would think they would have some sort of integrity. The movers were George, Antonio, Melvin.
It was my first time working with Veterans R Moving Us and unfortunately I did not have positive experience. During the move one of my furniture was broken and the mover told me it was in bad condition to begin with. It could have handled better with care and arrive in one piece. They also left last few boxes (important items were in them) in the hallway of my old apartment and when we noticed our belongings were left behind, the truck was already heading to our new place.
The service I received from this company was the worst I’ve ever had from a moving company. I typically move every year, so I understand what the moving process is like and what to expect. However, the two men moving me were the slowest I’ve ever experienced. It took them 4 hours to move my already packed studio apartment. A studio apartment should not be a $900 job.

Rusty did great with all the coordination and had us scheduled within 24 hrs They arrived on time, worked incredibly hard, and handled all of our belongings with care and professionalism.
