I would not recommend this moving company based on my experience. For context our apartment was flooded from our upstairs neighbor, so we were already going through a very stressful period and just needed help getting out so renovations could begin. They arrived over 4 hours late on moving day, which immediately put us behind schedule and added a lot of unnecessary stress. From the hours of 8AM-12PM we received multiple communications saying they were “close” or “on the way”. They were not.

I really hate that I had to leave a bad rating. I will go through both the good and the bad. I decided to call this company based on the amount of good reviews they had. I called a few days before my move and spoke with Seida. He was very friendly and professional over the phone for the initial booking. I booked 2 movers for 2-3 hrs. The day of my scheduled appointment 3 movers showed up. Ok, no big deal. One of the movers mentioned they'd picked him up along the way. They moved quickly and nothing was broken.

Don't ever hire these guys in MD... Hired them through uhaul to unpack a ubox. Called ahead and told them what was inside. They wound up damaging my furniture and walls. When trying to resolve the <$100 worth of drywall damages they tried to get out of it by pinning the whole thing on me somehow. Unprofessional, doesn't deserve your money nor the trust to handle your property.

I had a move scheduled with Your Local Moverz at 10am. When we hadn’t heard from them by 10:30 we started calling the team so get an estimate on when our movers would arrive. We called and texted for nearly 3 hours trying to get an answer from their team - only received automated messages during that time. We finally got a call from Adima at 1pm about “a hole in the wall from my move” when I did not even have movers show up. They have agreed to refund my deposit, but haven’t heard anything from them in over a day.

You were contacted several times and chose not to respond. BBB has also contacted you and you continue to not respond. Please render payment for the damages you caused moving me(8/26/2025) If I could give zero stars to this company I would. I was placed in a dilemma with whom I had previously scheduled with another company who was not local. Although this company got me moved the same day I spent more in damages during and upon their completion. I reached out to the manager Seida.

I would not recommend this company. My wife hired them to move our stuff to our new home cause I have been working long hours and didn't have time to do it myself. Long story short my Xbox gaming console came up stolen. The thief didn't even have the decency to unplug the cords just left them hanging. My wife spoke to one of the guys today. His response was that his guys wouldn't do that cause they all have background checks and play Ps5 together.

The guys that moved me were very nice people. But that is about it. They took forever to get the truck to the starting point. And the truck wasn’t big enough so they did their best but had to leave what they couldn’t fit. Once the truck was there things finally started moving along. But they had zero idea what they were actually doing. They hooked up the fridge, which was great. But then I turned the water on and before you knew it water was pooling under the fridge.

Zero stars because they continue to make customers out to be liars instead of making things right and justifying wrongful actions that took place with my families move. Xbox was stolen along with other oddities and lack of communication from owner on the issue. Says they are investigating but nothing has been done. I wouldn't hire these movers. Spend the extra coin and hire someone else. You buy cheap you buy twice and now my family has a whole Xbox to replace and a bunch of turmoil on an already stressful time.
