In their own words
I would not recommend this company. Although the young guys who moved me were very nice, I ended up doing a good deal of work, one had to leave midway…another came an hour later to replace him, but used time he was on the clock with me to fold moving blankets in the truck. A keepsake from my grandmother got broken and only a small amount of money was deducted from my overall cost for that and the hour only one guy was working. I had 2 storage units to move and it took hours and hours.
Very unethical company. Be careful about pricing. It illegally charge $400 more after finding bed bug on one of my stuffs though I did not see it. They threw my furniture on the road. Bed bug is a dangerous. no question about it. However, it may happen sometimes. Your Move Ottawa quotation did not mention about the bed bug policy. They did not mention anything about bed bug policy earlier. Suddenly they said, they saw bed bug and charge extra $400 dollar. Moreover, there employees did not maintain time schedule.

In their own words
I've moved with YourMove twice. Both experiences were quick and easy. The movers were on time, friendly, and careful with my belongings. I would recommend this company to anyone moving within Ottawa.
Efficient…excellent communication. Lovely fellows conducting the move. Fair price.
Black Star did an excellent job on the move from our home of 30+ years to our storage unit and new apartment. They were extremely efficient and worked at a good pace, they were professional, and they were respectful of our belongings. We're grateful to them for the smooth move and for going above and beyond. Highly recommended!
They did packing and moving for me to a storage unit. They were very professional and easy to work with. Only thing is they forgot to pack a couple things and was a bit slower than previous packing and moving companies I've used. Other than that, they were truly amazing and worth the money!
