If I could give this company 0 stars, I would! I had called asking for a quote on a "2 bedroom, 2 living room apartment" from Park Slope to Flatbush (just over 2 miles away) a month before our move. I was told that it would be $950 for September 30th, after I was asked a series of questions regarding furniture, such as "do you have couches?" "Mirrors?" "Nightstand?", etc. All questions, I asked honestly with the exception if underestimating our boxes by around 10 and forgetting 2 mirrors.

PLEASE PLEASE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS FIRST. I’ve moved 5 times in my life time and never have I experienced such terrible service. My experience Is similar to one of the other people here. Moving window was 9-11 they did not arrive until 10:30 the mover message me saying he had a bad day the day before which was understandable. Once he came and move the items I wanted to add extras that I had forgotten to add.

A company of thieves and liars. “Lost” and damaged over a thousand dollars of memorabilia, instruments, and misc furniture and goods. Refused to refund me and had to contest the charges as a result. Couldn’t handle a move that was literally 4 blocks in distance. I left a review on yelp but my yelp account was deleted for whatever reason so I’m just posting here for posterity. I recently used ZeroMax for an across town move and in the end I would not recommend this company.

Horrible experience with this company. I wouldn't recommend at all. I booked them through the moved.com service, was given a nice rate for a 1 bedroom apartment, I listed all my furniture on the site. The movers arrived at the correct time, but brought a van! My couch and bed could not fit in this van. We then spent 30 minutes trying to decide how to proceed. Meanwhile the window of time for me to leave my building is diminishing.

I decided to book these movers because they had given me the best quote compared to other movers. Upon booking, they had sent me a confirmation which stated that they would be arriving on the day of the move between 9-11 AM. I called them immediately because the apartment building I was living in did not allow people to use the freight elevator until 11 AM so I asked them if that is when we could start. They said that they could not change the window but would try to arrive closer to 11.

I paid Zeromax $2,500 to move my 1 bedroom apartment from NYC to CA, and used their storage for 2 months while I got settled. Should've been straightforward, but there were problems from the start. Billing issues during storage: They double billed me in the first month (extra ~$200), and then tried to do it again the last month. Both times I only caught it because I was monitoring my credit card transactions closely.

Aside from moving my one bedroom worth of pre packed things from Bensonhurst to Bushwick, the movers were very unprofessional. Constantly complaining and cursing very loudly (I could understand what they were saying in their native language)l and acted shocked when they had to ascend a staircase at my new apartment that I had already stated would be a factor in my quote.

I am writing to provide an updated review regarding my recent move with ZeroMax Moving and Storage. I want to share my experience honestly, as it significantly differed from my previous encounter with your company. My initial move from New York to California with ZeroMax Moving and Storage was somewhat delayed, as my belongings arrived two weeks later than expected. However, I was content with the service since all my items were accounted for and I received a competitive rate.

I recently used ZeroMax Movers for my move from Wilmington, Delaware to Queens, NY, and I was genuinely impressed with the service. Alex and Zura, the movers, arrived on time, which was a great start. They were efficient throughout the process, handling all my belongings with care. I was particularly relieved to see that everything arrived intact – not a single item was damaged. What stood out for me was their professionalism and positive attitude.

I had a good experience with this company. The cost came around $490 on Easter Sunday and I booked the day before(most places weren’t available last minute or didn’t have a place to dispose old furniture). I only had 3 big items to move (loveseat, full size bed and tv stand) and 2 big items to dispose of. I had so many questions and i had issues with building manager, the COI, and the last minute request so I had a bunch of back and forth with Dean and Danny but they were very patient and answered all my questions…

Despite the chaos of my roommates also moving out of our apartment at the same time and me having to simultaneously work while the move was happening, Vepkho and Zura (the movers) worked super quickly and professionally. I was able to just stay out of their way and focus on work while they took care of everything. They also arrived right on time so I didn’t have to worry about rushing the moving process and any disassembly/reassembly of furniture was taken care of by them with no issues.

We booked our move in New York and couldn't be more satisfied! We had the pleasure of interacting with Danny who helped us through all of our operational problems and last minute requests, all while keeping the price super reasonable. I did my own research and got quotes from other companies, but none of them were as competitive and quality as ZeroMax. Our movers Ozodbek and Inayatov of the Harmony crew were amazing - they came in and hustled to move all of our items quickly and efficiently.
