In their own words
Very poor customer service. Was in there couple times.. Thought maybe it was just me they were rude to. It's best not to ask for help.. Thought again maybe it was me. But witnessed the owners wife rude to older man, who just ask question. Felt bad for the older man. You could see his smile quickly change..Enough for me to speak up and say. That wasn't very nice..Owner wife then replied back to me "your not very nice".
Ive gotten random pieces of furniture from them as they can have some good pieces, for good prices. Never complained or qas disappointed by the actual items, its the owners. I feel/felt extremely uncomfortable in the space as a non religious queer person. I have visible tattoos, piercings, ans funky hair colors and they alwaya act so cold to me even when just asking questions. I took it as maybe theyre just quiet people.
Tl;Dr Not a non profit, dishonest couple running it, and if they are philanthropic they have zero proof. I *was* a huge fan of this store. So much so that living nearby, I followed some help wanted ads and got a job there. Sadly this also coincided with the pandemic lock downs, so I didn't have a job for long. Being on the inside of this organization, I have to say there is a lot of deceptive talk and misleading advertising. This is me now sharing a personal experience.
For a business that uses Jesus’ name as a marketing ploy, shame on you. You want free donated furniture, do not advertise pickup fees online, then tell donors that it’s okay to drop off items. Once you arrive EVERYTHING has to be dropped off in one trip. Please tell me how I’m supposed to fit a table and four chairs in my SUV? More so, why is it an issue when I live in the same town as your business and can have the chairs there in an hour? It’s a great concept if you want free labor and easy profit.
Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, we don’t advertise drop offs nor do we accept drop offs.
First time there. Don’t think I’ll be returning. I’m a thrift store guru. Clothing and toy prices were very high. Furniture was reasonably priced. Personally I prefer to shop at thrift stores that show where the profits go so while I shop and spend money I know it’s going towards good things. Also employee was not wearing a mask when I was there.
I offered to drop off the furniture myself that I was hoping to donate to their store in order to save them a trip but they would only take it if they picked it up and collected a nearly $400 fee to haul away a few items. They were not very …
Sent a picture of an item I wanted to donate. They said they'd come pick it up. When they got here, the weather was starting to turn bad and my item is quite heavy. They brought no hand cart. They decided they wouldn't take it because a …
Unfortunately, I will have to update my review and reduce the number of stars from 5 to 2. This place used to be my favorite thrift store when it was in the old location. The store was clean and neatly organized. It was almost like an …

In their own words
We needed to donate our sofa and chair and Zicknacks was great. They were quick to reply to my email and let us know what the fee would be. The crew arrived right on time and were careful with our furniture. Couldn't be more pleased!
Glad we could help out thanks for the feedback!
One of the best quality places around! I've purchased very high quality furniture and other furnishings/clothes and always pleased. They do a great job of finding quality gems and marking reasonable prices. We just love the expansion, and even my mother in law who is 600 miles away checks the site every day! And Nick and his team are always helpful, positive and courteous.
Owners are so sweet and helpful! Even helped me load the dresser I bought into my car since I didn't have anyone else with me. Dresser has some minor scratches on top, but overall, a sturdy piece of furniture at a great price.
From start to finish this was a 100% positive experience. My request for furniture donation pickup was answered immediately by Kelsea and scheduled to be picked up within a few days. When I had to reschedule, Kelsea was very kind and accommodating. The day of pickup, Tom arrived and singlehandedly moved three large pieces of furniture into the truck. He was kind, easy going and efficient. A great representation of the company.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
