These guys are supposed to be the best piano movers in Boston, so I had every confidence in trusting them with my beloved Steinway M during a move in August of 2017. Unfortunately, my fellow reviewers seem to have had better success. While moving my piano up a single flight of stairs, they put a massive crack along the length of the fallboard. Also, my piano was scratched during the move. As a professional pianist, this was deeply upsetting to me.

Luke, thank you for taking the time to share your experience - we're sincerely sorry to hear what happened to your Piano. I was able to find record of your move from 2017 under you mother's name and it appears that this claim was satisfactorily resolved with her.

Austin Piano movers did professional the move in the same town. I would like to give them five stars. The price from gentle graint company was overpriced That is not reasonable to pay $752 to move one 48” upright piano in the same town around three guys one hour service. Hope that no next person is overpriced like me.

TJ, It sounds like you ultimately hired a different company for your piano move, so we’re not seeing a completed job associated with your name through Allston Piano. This Google Business profile is intended for customers who have used our service, and we want to ensure the reviews here accurately…

We had an awesome experience with Allston Piano Company. Nuno, Izzy and Ron, the movers, were careful, polite, patient and knowledgable. We had a last minute obstacle to our moving plan in that a shelving unit would not fit up the stairs and they were both patient and helpful as we decided on a back up plan. They worked with us as we tried to decide exactly where our piano should go, and they handled our grand Chickering with loving care.

We had a baby grand piano that needed to be moved from a first floor auditorium to an upstairs multipurpose room and landed on Gentle Giant after they were referred to us by another organization. Our move consultant was responsive and prompt through the scheduling and coordinating process. On the day of, a crew of four came by the building to move the piano up a flight of stairs and through some narrow spaces in about 45 minutes. The crew was professional and friendly.

I whole heartedly recommend this company. Their three-member crew under the direction of Andrew Kuhn worked perfectly in moving our piano and a chest from Attleboro to Burlington last week. They were all professionals-- punctual, courteous to a fault, and meticulous in handling everything. They made sure that the items were removed with great care and were later put exactly where they were meant to be placed on different floors.

These guys are truly wonderful in every way! They were professional at every step, from quoting the job and planning the best way to navigate a tricky hill and path with practicality and cheer — and a “sure, we can get that done” attitude, to actually getting it done as promised. They arrived on time, padded and wrapped the baby grand piano efficiently, packed up and protected the legs and pedals, and got it on the truck with a smile — offering to take other things along if helpful.
