Boston Best Rate Movers

I am a repeat customer who have used BBRM many times, but unfortunately I do not recommend it any more. There is just too much variability in service quality. My worst experience happened recently, when the movers were passive and slow. When it came to asking for tips, they were quick and assertive. They also broken my TV which I only discovered days later. My complaint messages were not answered.

The service itself was decent none of my things were damaged and they were generally efficient. But one of the crew members was extremely inappropriate, he stole a kiss tried to kiss me repeatedly made sexual comments about me and my body , he asked me to turn around and asked to slap my butt. He also Asked for my contact information and then went on to make sexual comments in that thread.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. As far as customer service goes, they make Comcast seem like the best company in the world. Basically, they lie, they cheat, they manipulate, and they extort. But we could live with all of that if they actually delivered our stuff. It's now taken 3 weeks for a cross country move that should have and could have taken less than 1 week, and we are still being di--ed around and told that our stuff will be delivered soon.

i arranged to have boston best rate movers pack up my apartment and put my belongings in storage for six weeks then bring my belongings to my new apartment. the guys were nice and moved quickly and professionally in packing up my apartment. the nightmare began when they brought my things to my new apartment. first, they brought my mattress in. through the mattress cover, one could see that the mattress was obviously covered in MILDEW! the movers asked me if it was raining when the guys first moved my things.

We just recently used the packing and moving service from this company. We had a four-bedroom apartment and had a fair amount of stuff. The company sent three guys and a truck. In my view, at least one of the guys were not trained in packing. We had toy pieces neatly stored in bins. To our horror, one guy just dumped all the toy pieces into one large box. It took us many many hours afterwards to sort things out - imagining separating Lego and Playmobil pieces from each other!! Why on earth would someone do that?

I would love to give a minus rating to this company: I thought from the reviews it was a professional and caring company but the reality is that they don´t care about anything else than making money. I had a moving schedule time on Friday 27th of March. They give you a 3 hours window to start the moving. They were on time BUT the movers did not look very active and energetic. The reason why is because I found out after the moving ended that there is a minimum charge of 3 hours (required by Massachusetts law).

1) When they first started, I thought things were going to be great, they seemed like hard workers and were friendly enough. Then time went by... 2) They tell you that they have blankets to wrap your furniture in and it is free. Sounds great right? Well what they don't tell you is that they have to tape everything that has blankets on it and that costs. Also, they don't use blankets on mattresses/box springs or dressers. They use a plastic wrap that they also later charge you for.

This morning one of the Best Rate moving trucks smashed the side of my car off while it was parked on the street. The car is was damaged so badly it is not driveable. Witnesses saw the Best Rate truck hit my car, pull over, look at the damage before taking off. Multiple witnesses confirmed it was a Best Rate moving truck and documented the license plate and details.
