Insulting & unprofessional customer service team. I will start this review with the positives: the moving crew themselves were excellent and extremely professional and kind. 99.9% of my move of a small apartment into a condo went perfectly. Now onto the *very* ugly... A day or so before the move, I was contacted by someone at Mozart regarding a $150 moving insurance. The woman was extremely kind over the phone, and explained everything.
Before I chose the moving company, I read reviews and I think I trusted them too much. They were kind but not very efficient. I chose Mozart because many reviews mentioned affordable and efficient. Starting from the beginning, they came late. My schedule was between 11:30am to 2 pm and they arrived at 3:15pm with a late notice. I had to call several times to talk to the specialist but no response. After a long message, he finally got back to me that the movers were still in the previous schedule.
We used Mozart for all of our past movings as we were very satisfied. This time, they were a bit off. It took us 5+ hours to move from a second floor unit to a first floor unit with 4 movers. My husband even borrowed a cart and moved things himself to expedite the process but still it took forever. Ok - we used their packing service but we did the exact same thing 2 years ago and it took us like 3-4 hours with only 3 movers.
I used this company because they had done a wonderful job for me 5 years ago on my last move. This time, the movers literally threw an unwrapped stained glass lampshade in a box with a pair of shoes and a drawing my daughter had done. They did not wrap an antique lamp with crystal prisms nor did they bother to wrap much of anything except large pieces of furniture. I had included a request for some packing and I paid handsomely for it but they apparently had no regard for my belongings whatsoever.
My walls were damaged and I had to contact them several times to resolve the matter! Requested pickup 12pm-3pm. Driver contacted me at 9:57am for pickup. Too much stress I will never use this company again or recommend them. Hot mess!!

Team was polite, efficient, and communicative, but they lost one of our boxes and broke a few things, including one of the fixtures in our new house. I'd probably try someone else before using Mozart again.

The movers arrived right on time at 8am. They worked very quickly getting all of our boxes -- some of which were probably packed a bit too heavy -- and all of our furniture down the 2 flights of stairs and loaded into the truck. The furniture and 70" TV were all wrapped up in blankets and well protected. Everything was then moved into our new apartment and the crew took care to make sure everything was in the right place, exactly where we wanted it.
We recently moved from Canton, MA to Norwood, MA, and had an excellent experience with Mozart Moving Company. Moving can be stressful, but their team made the entire process smooth and worry-free from start to finish. The movers arrived right on time, were professional, friendly, and handled all of our furniture and boxes with great care. They worked efficiently while still paying attention to the details, making sure nothing was damaged during the move.

If you are considering hiring a moving company, the ONLY company you should consider is Mozart. This firm is incredible. The recently conducted my move. The scheduling process was quick and easy. We did a video walk through of my place on Facetime so the company could assess how much I had to move in terms of allocating man power, packaging materials, and trucks on move day. The firm also offered many insurance options to address the value of your cargo.

I got a couple quotes for a local RI move of my 4BR home from well-rated movers. Mozart came in as the lowest bid. Edwin and his crew were fantastic. They showed up on time, were friendly and professional, listened to what I needed, and worked efficiently and carefully. I had a treadmill that wasn't fitting down the stairs at the new house after being disassembled into its major parts, so with my consent they disassembled it even further and put it back together better than it was before.
