GOOD: 5/5 for the staff that assisted us in the move. the folks on-site were extremely careful yet super fast. I was very impressed with how quickly they both loaded out and back in! The cost was extremely affordable too. $500 for a 1BR/1BA + tip. BAD: 1/5 comes from the customer service of the pre-planning and logistics. When I originally called to schedule, I told the person (Manny or Mandy?) that we had a strict move in time of 12-3pm because of loading dock and freight elevator reservations.
Bait and switch operation! I used them for a full service move. They gave me a competitive quote range to begin with, then upped it a bit based on detailed photos that I provided later (which is totally fair) but then charged me twice of the upper end of the quote - so $3K instead of the $1.3K - $1.5K quoted range!
I really was hopping this will be a smooth move, regardless! I found out some of the furniture such as a dresser is completely broken, I also am missing a brand new bottle of Limoncello we had it on the counter during the move, so weird! The movers used the restrooms randomly without even asking permission prior , gross!!! I regret for even tipping them!!
Hard to understand all the positive reviews on this one. The guys showed up and immediately gave me eye rolls about how many stairs we had. I apologized, not much else I could do but that was just a weird start. Then later in the day when everything was done and they were gone we realized they broke our TV. They tried to say it was another guy who had come to mount our TV but he was never alone with the tv so we know that wasn’t true. Anyways, they gave us a measly $600 for our $1500 TV.
Dear Lisa. Thank you for using Anton's Movers. We're sorry to hear about the accident. We have wrapped TV with pads and packed it into a box, following the best moving practices. You kindly asked us to leave it in the box and you did unpacking and mounting by yourself with a handyman help.
It's hard to imagine a worse experience. We booked this company based on good reviews. They arrived on time the day of our move. That's about all I'll give them. They sent three guys who turned out to be clearly unhappy about our third floor apartment, despite the fact we were clear about that when we booked. The team lead might have said ten words to me in total.
I used this company for an in-city move two years ago. I waited to write this review until after I had moved again just to be safe. Anyhow, they were fast and efficient, as noted elsewhere. They also did a great job wrapping a few big pieces of furniture that I had not planned to protect in transit. My only complaint - and it's a big one - has to do with communication. I sought out Anton's specifically because they offered rope hoisting.
If you're looking to get your belongings moved efficiently, then I will give the team that they can manage that. But after discovering multiple items damaged to the extent they are unusable, and spending 6 weeks trying to get any sort of help one star is being generous. Their customer service is atrocious, from blatant lies that "all my furniture was broken when they arrived so it's not their fault", to having to contact their insurance claim company in order to get any kind of response from management.
Dear Niamh, sorry to hear about that. We apologize we were not able to assemble the bed the other day. But hope a $200 refund, that you requested, found you and made you feel little better.
I recently used this service to move from a luxury Boston studio apartment in to a house just outside of the city. Please read this review if you are on the fence about choosing a moving company as I sincerely wish I had known this before. For a company with such positive reviews, it’s astounding that they were allowed to get away with such egregious deception and lack of service. The movers arrived on time and seemed fine at first.

From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, efficient, and completely stress-free. Sasha, Dima, and Alan were not only punctual and professional, but also extremely courteous and careful with all of my belongings. They handled everything with great attention to detail, ensuring that all furniture and boxes were packed, transported, and unloaded with care.
I just finished a long-distance interstate move with Anton's movers and am immensely thankful for the great job they completed. Showed up exactly on the indicated time, thousands of miles from Boston, when I faced the most professional and organized crew I have ever worked with. All uploading took much less time compared with the other company's move a year ago. All equipment for moving a 4-bedroom house was ready and used very effectively. I recently used Anton's Moving Company for my relocation, and I am thoroughly impressed with their service. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-organized. The process began with a simple online form to get a quote, and their team quickly followed up to schedule the move. They asked for some basic details about the items to be moved, our preferred dates, and the size of our place, which made the process smooth and straightforward.
Everything about moving day was made stress-free, simple and easy by Anton's. The team was communicative from step 1 in coordinating all details of the load/unload, and keeping us posted with an ETA on when they'd arrive in the morning. Each member of the crew was friendly, respectful, and communicative. The team quickly got to work and was extremely diligent in taking care of our belongings, not leaving as much as a ding or scratch on anything or any of the walls in the apartment, even with 2 flights of stairs…
