One star because the crew worked hard. Away We Go never finished the job, though. And, as I went through my items, I discovered some of it was damaged. Before committing to their estimate, I asked Josh to come out to make sure it was accurate. This resulted in a higher estimate, which was fine. However, Josh said they'd complete the job for the amount on the estimate even if it went over. They moved items out of my basement and into my shed and left more than half of the items from the shed behind.
Hello Nadel, we're sorry to hear you were dissatisfied with your move! During the move, a couple of items remained after two fully loaded trips. At that time, you instructed our crew to leave those items and indicated that we could return at a later date to complete the move.
Edit: Update: Score and review I was not informed at the time of the estimate that there was an hour of travel time. If I had been informed, when I received the estimate without travel time being listed, I would have called the office to find out about the discrepancy. It should have also been explained to me that the estimate was non-binding. I am not sure why an estimate is signed if it has no value in being honored. Additionally over-estimating how much time is needed does not mean I saved money.
Tracey we apologize for the confusion. The original estimate was a non-binding estimate and as explained at the time of estimate included the travel time from our office to your location and your location back to our office. Each way is approximately 30 minutes.

Our movers were great! Hardworking guys who were really nice and helpful. Mario and Blake were their names. They were very professional and they kept everything neat and clean. They wrapped our furniture (even our cheap stuff I told them not to worry about) they communicated exceptionally well and they were all around just two great people. The fact two of them did the work of four to five people was impressive. I'd highly recommend Mario and Blake to anyone!

I am writing this review after my multiple interactions with only one empolyee- Courtney H. I live in Portland, Oregon and was trying to find help for my Dad's cross town move from Deer Park to the valley. I called Courtney and found my sanity. It's that easy! Moving is really hard. There are so many parts to organize...I didn't need another problem (the apartment was giving me enough problems).
