In their own words
I have moved Intrastate and interstate many times. My experience with DeVries has been the worst. There were missing boxes, broken electronics, missing electronics, broken furniture, broken smokers, etc. They stored our items in a "climate controlled warehouse". It was anything but. My items sensitive to freezing and thawing were ruined. My brand new mattress was sitting in water while in their possession. There is a huge water stain and the side is collapsed.
I chose Prager based upon several referrals and some good reviews. What I did not realize was that I was actually hiring Atlas, whose reviews are terrible. This move was a nightmare. The packers arrived and began packing in a very chaotic manner, with things from different rooms being combined--I found a part of my office computer in a box marked "bathroom" and have another box that says "stereo and glass", despite giving the packers the actual shipping box from my stereo, which they then used to pack other items…
Very disappointing experience. It is hard to tell who is responsible for some items but Devrie was responsible for our pack out. The inventory list numbering had multiple errors, my parts box was missing essential hardware but the worst was the breakdown of our power bed. We are now without a bed through the long weekend because the bed was disassembled incorrectly. 100s of little pieces and no one able to touch it.
Never had a worse experience. Numerous missing items. When I called about it Cole (one of the supervisors) said that the warehouse had cameras and that no one could of taken anything but refused to go back and look at the recordings. My items were crated and shipped and I opened the crate at this end so they had to of gone missing from their warehouse. In addition, the crate which I was charged approx $200.00 for was made of rotten wood and put together with nails instead of screws.
I moved from Washington state to Florida a month ago. One package of art works is missing. Also, a crate for a sculpture was turned upside down on a clearly marked crate on how to handle it properly. The handling caused the sculpture to be broken. This company is unresponsive to me. Not only are this articles spendy but they were gifts from my deceased husband. I am heartbroken.
Not a great experience. Delivery driver was rushed and didn’t reassemble furniture as promised. They also didn’t deliver the boxes where we asked. They bumped into a few walls but denied our damage claim because the paperwork said no damage. We signed the paperwork in a rush since the driver said had had to leave quickly. Lesson learned. Be careful if you work with them.
Twice I paid for moving and storage services with a credit card I have not used with any other merchant. I've now had to cancel the card twice due to fraudulent charges being made on the card. I let them know the first time and was assured they would look into the issue. Now it's happened again. Do not trust your credit card to these folks.

The move out crew were great. They worked fast, yet was careful with our items. The move in crew again was careful with our items. The complaint that I have is that they worked really fast for the first hour, but slowed down and each hour went by. They were here about 4 hours. During that time they took 2 breaks, and spent a fair amount of time standing in the truck talking. They were friendly and cautious with our furniture.
The Devries Team did an outstanding job on my project. They were entrusted with a cherished client. Communication was great, they were on time on several dates. Definitely recommend. Joe
Bought a big desk from Devries for our business Dynamite Enterprises. The staff was SUPER helpful to go through all the stock items and make sure we had the right pieces. We also were missing one piece that was currently unavailable but were happy to go without. Months later they contacted us to let us know they had it now and happy to deliver to us. Super friendly and love doing business with this team that has quality communication.
