I did a lot of research, and this seemed like the perfect company. I hired them for an interstate move with full service packing, and all seemed fine until I began unpacking my belongings. Many things were broken or poorly packed. There was a hole in my couch and a gash in my china cabinet. Bins purchased for the move were damaged. Breakable items were not wrapped and tossed into boxes. I contacted them explaining I was not happy with what I was finding.
Be very careful when hiring this company, they do not provide the 101 booklet to show how they are allowed to charge. They charged me a travel fee and charged me for them leaving their Wearhouse 45 minutes and arriving back to their warehouse 45 minutes plus an additional travel fee. The movers were only there for 3 hours and only physically moved for two hours and 20 minutes. I was charged over $1000 just for two hours and 20 minutes to help unload a truck for me.

We had such a positive experience working with Exela movers! I really can't say enough how awesome these guys are! Wow what a difference to work with courteous professionals that really value customer satisfaction. The owner is extremely responsive and thorough. Prices are very reasonable and the service is the best I have ever had (and I've done a lot of moving). The workers were on time and careful. We felt safe. They were quick and efficient.
Researched movers and read about a lot of interesting stories. When we found Exela and read their reviews there was nothing but praise. We had a large bedroom set that we gave to a friend and he at our recommendation used Exela. We were impressed with how professional they were. We emailed and spoke on the phone several times while checking out other venders. On the day of the move Exela's team arrived on time and went to two separate places to pick our position's up.
Very simple: moving is awful, and working with Exela made it a piece of cake! If you're moving into, around, or out of the Boston area, you can stop your search and just use Exela. And you can be sure you'll get a great price, excellent movers, and have a very easy time working with them! First off, while they are a newer company, Alexe (owner) has been a mover in Boston for years and finally went out on his own. So you will get years of experience and professionalism with the move.
This must be the best moving company around! Price is great, and quality of service top notch. Alexe and the rest of the Excela team were awesome. Leading up to the move they were so easy to communicate with, always answering very quickly, even on a Saturday night when I had a last minute question they got back to me within 30 minutes! They were also very accommodating in scheduling since we wanted to get in ASAP after our close. Alexe was able to work out the schedule to bump us up a day earlier.
