The rating breakdown
Google shows 13 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. 3 of those are one or two star.

In their own words
Serious road rage. Tail gating me and blowing the horn. Not very professional especially in a moving vehicle. Can't imagine their clients would be too happy if they knew how they were driving with their belongings in the vehicle. They had their moving truck a few inches away from my small car and were laying on the horn in a residential area after I passed them in a lane that ended and then pulled in front of them.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

I moved on Aug 4, and used the services of J & L. I live on the 16th floor of a condo, so this creates additional challenges. The movers were polite, professional and efficient. They were careful with my possessions and strategically well organized. The cost was very fair, accurate to quote, and office staff pleasant and quick to answer and respond. I would recommend them anytime Update Oct 17, 2022. J & L have since moved me up to Lake Country BC.
J&L did an excellent job moving our office of 25 staff. They were communicative, organized, efficient, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Would recommend.
Fast, Efficient service. The 3 nice men arrived on time and worked very hard to move me from one place to the next. They safely shrink wrapped my dressers etc. to ensure nothing would be damaged. When it started to rain, the owner (John) asked another truck with 2 fellas to come help speed up the move. They laid drop sheets down over my new hardwood to ensure it would not be damaged and held my furniture as I replaced all felt pads on the bottom of each leg. The men were pleasant and clean cut.
We needed a last minute move with 1 day notice and had called numerous places. Angus at J and L moving called me back with a cancellation after speaking with him. Jeff, Blaze and Will showed up on time and moved our stuff quickly. They even helped us build a bedframe! Thanks guys, you were the best and we’ll call again when the need arises.
