We had a mixed experience and after settling in from the move and seeing the damage to furniture, I would not recommend this moving service. Movers are expensive, but it’s worth shopping around to find one that’s going to prioritize your furniture. Our experience: Three movers arrived ~9:30 and immediately started lifting. Definitely the biggest pro for the service was the speed the movers went. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was less stellar.
We definitely fell short of our standards here, and apologize to Corey for the problems with this move. We’ve reached out to see what can be done to rectify this situation, and will be using it as a teachable moment in order to ensure this experience is not repeated.
They don't want to touch higher-end appliances. I told them I had a Subzero refrigerator and they said "we're residential movers."
David, Sub Zero refrigerators are indeed a highly specific and high end appliance best handled by a specialist. We routinely handle many household appliances, but we are aware of our limitations, unlike some other movers.

I recently used Safe Responsible Movers for an in-house move and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. From the initial inquiry to the actual move, the team was incredibly responsive and had great communication throughout the entire process. Scheduling the move was a breeze and they were able to accommodate my preferred date and time without any issues. On the day of the move, the team arrived promptly (even eralier) and got to work right away.

I was hesitant to hire movers, after I had done so only one time and had a bad experience where the movers were difficult to deal with. But Safe and Responsible movers went above and beyond any expectations I had, and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. My movers were Kevin and Kelby, and they did an excellent job from start to finish. They moved my things quickly and efficiently, not a scratch on anything and they were super nice.
We found Safe Responsible Movers on Yelp. The reviews there were mixed but right from the start I was impressed with them. They sent a very clear, detailed, quote and suggested things to consider that I never thought of like obtaining a parking permit for the day of the move. We didn't need the service but it was great that they offered. Their price was competitive and we liked that there was a flat rate for travel time. Also, they didn't charge extra to use their furniture blankets, etc.
After reading other positive and local reviews, I recently used Safe Responsible Movers to move from a home in Boston to the suburbs. They were responsive and expectations and pricing were clearly communicated. I got a higher quote from another company who made things more complicated. They updated before the move and were in touch on moving day. They were very quick and efficient and finished sooner than I planned, saving me more money. Pro tip: I was ready and made things a lot easier by being prepared myself.
