The most terrible experience I ever had in my life with a service provider, even don’t know where to start…. They made an estimation of 600-800$ for moving out my furniture and put them in a storage. Then, on the day of the moving they charged me the double (1500$) including 1 month of storage. In the phone they make it look like it’s not going to cost much for you to sign with them and then overcharge on the moving day pretexting a bunch of non sense.

Do not hire this company for a long distance. Good: they sell well, accommodating and pretty much agree to anything asked. Picked up on time, wrapped everything very well. Now bad: promised wardrobe boxes, instead used big boxes and simply threw clothes into it. Charged fir their time and boxes 😂 Original estimate of arrival to the destination was late afternoon. I called them at 10 am to get an ETA, took over 2 hours and multiple calls to get in touch with Roman, he surprised me by saying the ETA was 7 pm.

Wish I could leave zero stars. They were over 2 hours late and charged nearly a thousand dollars including charging for their commute. Didn’t even move a desk…do not recommend then in the least.

I received an estimate from Stark Moving and Storage and hired their moving service. They removed all furniture from the house, and, at the new place, they doubled the price before unloading the truck. They hijacked all my stuff until I paid the full NEW amount in order to get my stuff back. Beware! And please don't trust them when they say that they "don't hijack furniture". They do. And they will demand a substantial amount of money from you.

They new we were elder and disabled and that if they treated us like garbage they could get away with it. We are still finding things that were destroyed because of them. Don't use this company. I will never forget the cruelty. Exactly the way the person describes in the review below it was like teenagers had packed. It seems like they have a crew for customers that matter and a crew for customers that they decide are trash. There is no remorse from the owners of this company either. Only gas lighting.

We moved from Boston to Denver in a very large truck packed by Stark. The contents of the truck were in total chaos upon arrival at the storage unit, which we saw immediately when the truck Stark had loaded was opened. No one had touched the contents from the time it was loaded until the time it got to the destination. We were present and watched as the unloading crew had to tape up boxes just to get them out of the truck and into the self-storage unit without the contents going everywhere.

We were given a quote of between $627 - $836 and should take about 4 hours. THEY asked what was being moved and estimated how long it would take and came up with those figures. Other than the beds (5), some bureau's & TV's, there weren't any other big items, no couches, chairs or loveseats, kitchen tables or chairs.... Mostly boxes, bins & bags. We gave $100 deposit. Once the move was complete, we were charged $1053.43 - making the total charge $1153.43 - A LOT more than they quoted.

My experience with this company was terrible and they do not stand by their service. - Three guys showed up to for my move in the morning and they looked exhausted. They took multiple breaks throughout the job and ended up exceeding the estimate by several hours. They were very inefficient. - They left hardware screws and bolts for my furniture at the original apartment and didn’t deduct for time taken to recover hardware.
